Corría el año 1972 ,cuando don Mario Araneda ,creador del programa "evocando a Magaldi, que se transmitía por Radio Bulnes ,y la cortina musical"Nieves " que cantaba A.Magaldi ,y la injerencia de varios amigos, como Stgo. Toledo y Genaro Fairlie , acordaron fundar el Club de Tango "Magaldi Tango Club " el día 08 09 1972 .Después de deambular por varios locales y sufrir incluso un gran incendio que nos dejó sin nada, sólo se salvó el estandarte ,a partir de 1990 se inicia una campaña para la compra de un bien raíz .Durante la dirigencia de don Raúl Vargas y Maria Saavedra ,se logró concretar el sueño de la casa propia, ubicada en Sta Rosa 1349 e inaugurada el 15 de Agosto de 1996, que era un sueño desde 1990. Hoy Magaldi posee uno de los locales mas hermosos del país .
