How to install Classical KDFC APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Classical KDFC APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

4 ★Edit: Newly updated. Glad to report that it now works again with Android9/Pie. Thanks to the developers. The app has not been updated since September 2018. It was working just fine for me on Android 8/Oreo. It stopped working when my phone was updated to Android 9/Pie. It has the same symptoms reported elsewhere here - central icon spins endlessly and music is not played. Android 9 has "tightened up" on some of aspects of app writing to improve security. I reported this problem to the developers of this app a couple of weeks ago and they reported they are working on the issue. I hope that fairly soon we will see an update that restores the KDFC app to full working status for those of us on Android 9 and for the folks on earlier Android releases as they upgrade.
5 ★Great programming. This app lets me listen even though i live in Southern Calif. It also continues to play after i turn the screen dark.
1 ★Turned it on by accident and had trouble turning it off. It was my good luck this time that i was alone in the office and no one else was affected by the burst of Khachaturian. i fought back panic and remembered to check the menu on upper left. Bingo. But shouldn't the music stop if you use back button to exit the app?

5 ★Superb and elegant music is the fine experience with "Classical KDFC". This Station plays an excellent variety of older and contemporary selections that brighten the day. The "On-Air Personalities" charm you with their impressions and knowledge of composers. It has been an edifying enjoyment, which I highly recommend.
3 ★Great app, one very similar to KUSC and other stations like All Classical Portland and WCPE. The problem with KDFC, though, is the "commercials" where they advertise the station far too often, that and the quality of the stream is not as good as KUSC or All Classical Portland. My poor rating here is for the station itself, not the app. The programming and sound quality are, well, meh. Just a personal preference. KDFC is a decent station for classical but they are not top tier in my opinion.
5 ★Definitely "an island of sanity" for me. . Love the background explanations about composers and pieces of music, love the hosts, their humor, and expertise in what they do so well. Keep up the amazing work! It's such a blessing!
5 ★Thanks to this app I can hear KDFC's beautiful music clearly (not always possible on my radios) and when traveling away from the SF Bay area. I am particularly happy to be able to hear Sunday morning's A Joyful Noise, particularly important during coronavirus epidemic when churches are closed.
1 ★I had enjoyed this app until recently, when it started playing spontaneously while I was listening to podcasts. I hit the play button on the podcast app to restart it, but the KDFC app would hijack the stream immediately. 5 ★KDFC is my go-to music station. I love the programming and hosts. It's also wonderful to have it with me at work, when I exercise, or do anything at all. No blaring, repetitive, obnoxious ads!! For me, that alone is worth every penny of my sustaining membership.
1 ★Music is great, but the app sucks. It drops the music stream oftenly, even when using a stable wifi connection. Also starts to play the music on it's own. I stopped using it. I use another app instead to hear the music from the station.
4 ★Quality, service, interesting, worldwide... The only thing... I would love more variation in the pieces they broadcast... ( there are a lot out there and they tend to gravitate around a fix common set). Good job
