Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★It would be a great app, but has couple of issues. My training got stucked after completing the 1st level/stage, I was unable to level up to the 2nd stage because the schedule was still showing the first week's days. Furthermore it's not clear that you should complete the 2 cardio sessions on the same day or on the week after, would be great to have some info on this. Otherwise I love the concept of the app and the relatively fast pace of improvement.
2 ★This app is a great idea and the support and guidance is brilliant. However, I have now attempted to do the basic Army assessment 3 times and three times the app has crashed and not recorded my results. There do seem to be several glitches in the app as well. For example, I am unable to alter my profile and the calandar in the app believes that i am a week behind. I was really hoping this app would help keep me focussed for the next 10 weeks as i work up to assessment.
3 ★like others have mentioned, this app has potential, but things like GPS not working really let it down. Both of my running sessions state that I have run 23 miles, which in 10/15 minutes is clearly an error. One quick fix the developer could easily do is to check if the recorded distance is realistic and if not tell user there's a problem and ask for manual distance. GPS distance is ideal, but at least allow us to override bad readings.
5 ★So far a great, useful app but during my cardio assessment there were some problems such as not tracking my miles, despite having location on and the 10 minute warm up constantly kept resetting, not sure why. Other than the cardio assessment, everything seems great. I'm hoping it'll prepare me very well in addition to other activities I'll do on the side. If the cardio training continues to be buggy I'm not sure what to do then but the personalised schedule, voice coaching, information and all is perfect.
2 ★When this app works, it works well. Unfortunately for most of the time I've had it, it hasn't. You can see in other reviews about how it was originally locked behind a distance measurement that didn't work, once they got that fixed, it worked for a while. Now the weekly training sessions don't reset at the end of the week, so you can't train at all (Edit; if you change training schedule it resets). Finally it doesn't track your progress. Like other UK apps, it is world beating in how bad it is.
2 ★Not great. Could do with better guidance on the initial test (it's sit ups, squats then press ups or something like that) then the run then you go through the rest. You cannot do the run on a treadmill only outside which is poor. Also is a very big app download and you cannot listen to your own music while running like other apps. The location services for the app needed to be turned on and off a number of times before going on to the cardio stage. Not great if you are already out running on a warm up pre jog (Also no warm up pre running?) Less than I would expect from the Army
2 ★Same problem as everyone else. I had to run a total of 5k on my assessment, which meant I ended up at Level 1. On the app settings page you can now change your level manually within a certain category, so I can access level 3. However "intermediate" is locked, so if the assessment fails again, I will be stuck here. I often lose signal in my local park, but that has to be expected when you're running outside. Please - if it's a hard problem to fix technically, let us fix the problem manually!
3 ★The location services seem to not work on Google pixel 2, along with locking the screen (the app dies). I wasn't able to log any cardio so the fitness test was incomplete. I'm on Android 9 (pie). Also after the app crashes, you have to disable location services to get past the enable location services. Maybe it works well on other devices... Just not mine :(
3 ★I love the idea of this app! I've been trying to use it for my fitness on my route to the engineers. It's a great and love it but it is far too rigid. It quite frankly just doesn't track runs and doesn't let you select things you want to train without saying you need to do something different. This review is restricted to 500 characters so I cant write more. 🤦🏼‍♂️
5 ★Alright. This is by far the best fitness app! I only have a small complaint - the run tracking went terribly wrong! I obviously gave the app permission to track/access my gps location, but I had to run 10km in order to finish the 1.5 mile test... As I'm not a complete beginner and only wanted to improve myself for joining the army, this wasn't a problem but for someone who is new to running, it might be quite a pain in the ass. Otherwise PERFECTION!
3 ★Good app with an annoying issue. I did my running assessment twice but still didn't work. First, it didn't track at all so I figured it had something to do with my gps so I tried again this morning. This time it worked and I was even told to cool down at the end however there was no record of it when I was done. Worst, now I can't even redo the assessment, it's blocked somehow. It keps showing I should finish the assessment but I can't! Please fix this or tell me what I'm doing wrong.
2 ★Great app layout and videos, but the location tracking for the 1.5mile test does not work reliably at all. There needs to be an option to manually input your time if necessary as with all the other exercises, and also to pause, skip and resume the warmup as accidentally cancelling and needing to do it all again is far too easy to do whilst running with your phomd in your hand
