Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Used for a day hike/overnight campout. Will use for additional sectionhikes. Great app!
4 ★Terrific tool while on the trek. Informative, fast, accurate.
5 ★Great app!
1 ★Who pays that much(or anything for that matter) to look at GPS data already available. You people are crazy, uninstalling now. DON'T WASTE TIME WITH THIS GARBAGE!
1 ★What good is a map if it doesn't show you the entire trail. I can understand charging for key information but this so is useless unless you spend big money to buy the full mao. Save your money, it's a waste of time.
5 ★Great app for letting you know where you are, how far to go and what trail features there are. I use trails statewide so bought all 3 regions and love it. A small price for the convenience of having the Trail in you pocket and no ads. I was so happy to hear last year I could get this app and now that my phone has enough memory I am enjoying on my phone rather than borrowing my fiance's.
1 ★24.99 for access? No thanks
5 ★The app worked great with my Nexus 6p except for one problem and that it tended to crash when my phone went into landscape mode. Otherwise, it was great and I particularly like the feature of it adjusting the mileage to each point as I was hiking. I would recommended this to anyone who is hiking the Ice Age Trail.
4 ★The app has been a huge help while out hiking on the trail. My only complaint is that you cannot get directions to any other waypoints. I wish it linked into Google Maps so that you could get driving directions for parking.
2 ★The app is a great idea and it seems to show a lot of information. But when I looked at the map it only showed a small trail 800 miles away from home. "The trail goes threw the town i live in.... just realized you have to pay 9.99 for the Section of the map i would actually use.
5 ★I'm very impressed. Thanks guys!
5 ★Sure wish I had this when I hiked all the southeast section of the IAT! This app is very easy to use, very intuitive interface, easy to look at.
