Art of War 3: Global Conflict (AOW) - is a real-time strategy online game in the best tradition of old classic PC RTS games. 4 ★Its a good game. Closest game you find to C&C. I don't like the upgrade times. WAY too long. While boosts can make a difference in the game, I think there shouldn't be any. A player should rely on tactics and not just strong units or boosts to help them win. Not so sure what the point of teams are right now. Would be nice if we could take over areas or just pick a side and just be that. Can't pick a side and then be on a different team and fight against your own side.
5 ★I've been looking for a good RTS like old school command and conquer and this game delivers. It's free and you get to play both sides so you can use all the units. Upgrades take sometime but no one gets everything overnight. It's fun and worth the time you put into it. You can pay to get stuff but it's not game changing. Brains and tactics are king 👑 not money
3 ★I think it's a solid attempt at a Command and Conquer inspired rts and the two sparring factions fighting each other it cool, but having to do the campaign to unlock things to use in online pvp is wack and everyone knows it. I see no reason for it except to give a sense of progression which could've easily been done with regular single player missions that don't unlock anything. Or they could've made it so the missions unlock cosmetics or other unlockables . It's still a enjoyable game nonetheless though.
2 ★So bored... 4 levels in, and the tutorials are still leading me through every step, and it is sooooo slow. I just want to play. Their menus don't really flow well, and it is too complex in terms of earning rewards and materials. I prefer KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. Just want to play a simple fun RTS that requires some strategy. Installed this yesterday, uninstalling today.
5 ★I love this game and have very few complaints the only thing that I really dont like about it is the time it takes to upgrade your people. I'd like it if it only took money to upgrade your guys not time. It would be cool to have larger maps and more factions, also the ability to play against your friends would be cool. But yeah this game is awsome and highly recommend by me
4 ★Love. Was looking for a Starcraft Alternative for mobile and found it. As with most of free P2P game, if you pay you have an advantage but the pvp system, so far, has been very evenlu matched. Great offline story mode, to teach the game. Love the dual profiles so you can easily change factions. I wish boost could be optional. A way to choose boost on or off during games. It would be a more fair fight. I think this is the only issue I have. And this is where the p2p comes in.
3 ★I want to rate it 5 stars, I really do. This brings me back to the old school command and conquer days, back before red alert. But the Free to play aspect of this game is what drives me to rate it 3 stars. I get having to buy to be able to construct two things at a time, but when the pack you need to buy is $30+ "ON-SALE" then that's ridiculous. Not only that, they lock the ability to even REPLAY, YOUR ****ING MATCHES, something even a ***in free GAMELOFT game allows you to do. I'm not spending $10 just so I can replay a match, and record it to show off to my friends. And I get that this app is free to play, I'm glad you have no pop up apps like more developers put in their games, but seriously. Why lock even the most basic function, such as replay behind a $10 pay wall. **** is disrespectful
1 ★Not liking the game now. I continually fight opponents two levels higher than me. Ive only EVER fought a player one level lower than me ONCE. The ai tends to move pieces back and forth and never in the same direction even after way points are edtablished. Also setting a time limit obvsome of the detailed missions especially when you have to manage multiple bases is unfair. Lastly if the true purpose of the campaign missions are to find the short cut, sneak, or outthink the ai then why play?. by
5 ★Installed again. Played this when it first launched and it has improved a lot! So far the immersion affect is there. The game surrounds you. I'd like to see a unit leader icon that switches to a new unit upon death, or just make the leader the last one to die in that unit. Otherwise its just a blob of expendable anonymous fighters. Sound, art work, flow, messages are very well done. Great rainy day game.
5 ★Came back to this game after trying a bunch of others. While the pay to play is still present, it's much less prevelant than other RTS games out there for mobile. The controls are easy, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is smooth. Most importantly, it's a game of actual strategy. Skill wins, not wallets.
2 ★I keep running into pvp battles against people who can produce way too many units and way too many buildings and resources way too quickly. What I mean is, I keep getting attacked by players using combat vehicles within 5 minutes of the start of the fight. I keep seeing huge enemy bases within the same time frame. I'm only a level 8 player. The devs claim they match players by level right?
5 ★If you like command and conquer you'll like this. It's a well-made game free to play on mobile. So far I haven't run into any issues with it. I like that as you progress in the game you can buy (with game currency, real money not needed) permanent upgrades for your units and buildings for them to be more effective. I guess it also has a player versus player feature but I haven't gotten that far yet. So far it's fun.
