Welcome to Island War:The continent in the center of the world was shattered by mysterious power; it became countless islands scattered across the ocean.
In this world you can be a pirate and conqueror by sending your fleet to loot weaker prey.

You can gather clan mates from all over the world to become the ultimate ruler of the sea.

2 ★Fun enough in the beginning. But progress very quickly hits a wall if you're not trying to pay. You get an upgradable building that gives you gold and gems, but the most important resource, wood, is only earned in large quantities from playing against the computer once per day. There is a reward system that gives you resources and units as you hit milestones but there's a timer on that too. I enjoyed this game for three days and now I'm stuck unless I pay, which I won't. Uninstalled
4 ★I enjoy the strategy aspect of actually being able to deploy troops how you want. Improvements I would make are adding progressive texture to the walls and buildings as they are leveled up-more levels for the events could have slower progression to compensate and to not dump rewards on the player while giving more in the long term-The heros could be a good addition might give them an extra boat to allow maximum troop deployment. Overall a good game, this is just some nitpicking.
3 ★Initially pretty interesting, but you don't have much control of your troops. You can determine where they land, and pick your paratroop drop location, but the rest is automated. You can't lure your opponent one way and sweep in behind them to take the objective. Pretty basic strategy. Four star units are also waaaay too expensive. 120k is more realistic.... especially because you have limited opportunity to accumulate coins. The ads are mostly thirty seconds long, which is a bit much.
4 ★I like it so far ads are completely optional and worth the watch. The game is simple and satisfying. SO far. I have been war simulator gaming for over 15 years. I have played over 150 different android platform simulators of this category and I would say, socially it lacks, but it makes up for it with the simplicity. After gaming in intense SoS or MS environments...some of you know what I mean. You will get attacked. The losses are minimal. Just keep going. 🤘
1 ★Don't bother downloading this game. It's a shamelessly obvious, pay-to-win app. Everything is great on the first 3 levels since the resources needed to level up are reasonable and appropriate. Once you try to level up to 4, however, it goes from needing 4k wood to 30k wood. What kind of ridiculous and disproportionate jump is that!? An attack gives you a max of like 600 wood if you're lucky. You know how long it'll take to level up without paying? The developers are greedy. Plain and simple.
5 ★Fun game to play to pass the time. Challenging and you don't have to buy a lot of items out of pocket like some other games. Realistic sounds and very entertaining. One thing you might do us make a spinning wheel an option in between chapters on single play to give options between coins, chests, wood etc. I have coins and recruits but I never have enough wood for upgrades. I have no option on speeding up construction either. Would be a good thing. Just a couple thoughts. Thank you!
4 ★Good game that you dont need to pay to play to get anywhere. Time to upgrade your island is a bit long if you dont want to use gems. Sometimes you can take a level of difficulty no problem, other times same level gets your butt beat. Not sure if it's just my device, but eventually i have issues with tapping to launch my boats or paratroopers and they dont launch no matter how many times i tap screen. By the time they finally deploy, the first couple boats are already decimated.
1 ★Days of down time waiting for building completion and maps to cycle! No playing for several days once you get max wins for a season. It's like being punished for playing a lot... Dumb. Graphics for cards and map/troops too blocky. Lacks a practice mode and replays so how to best configure troops is unknown. Missing a range indicator, just described as short, medium, long. The ability to advance just by playing single player is a joke! And other players constantly steal your resources. Ugh!
2 ★Decent game. Many issues. Every time I exit the game (even for 5 minutes) I find I was attacked multiple times & lost all my resources. The reward system is meh. It takes a lot of resources to recruit troops & build on your island, but invasion rewards give a minuscule amount compared to what's needed & daily quests/missions take 10-20 hours to be playable again, & the cycle of enemy attacks continues to drain resources. Edit: Now I can't earn trophies & support auto emails w "it's our day off"
4 ★Good game so far and I know it's still in development so I have 3 suggestions to make it better. 1. Don't zoom in when the first ship goes in but stay top view and allow us to zoom in if we want. 2. Give us a way to earn gems (honestly I'm not to worry about this one) and finally 3 once we deploy the troops allow us to maneuver them. Kind of like give us 2 options of auto battle and manual battle. Aside from that I see great things from this game. Sae out.
2 ★The playing experience has been improved slightly. going up against a field full of archers, especially Frost archers, is a guaranteed lose. Buying a card with coins almost always gives a rare cars at the highest. It's almost impossible to get legendary cards without paying. WOOD! Wood for construction is impossible to come by. Buildings can cost over 900k in wood. I've been playing for weeks and am only at 400k. It's virtually impossible to get enough words for construction!!!
1 ★1)Why does the matchmaking algorithm pair you with people who are twice as strong as you? Why wouldn't it just pair you with people close to your level? 2)Why will the AI take troops straight past the building they need to destroy, and make them walk around the entire island picking a fight with every other troop? Frustrating when the building in question needs 1 more hit, but your troops just ignore it. Happens ~90% of the time. Not great. 👎 Edit:Cookie cutter response - downgrade to 1 star.
