4 ★Was enjoying this game, but encountered a bug with a battle where all enemies were killed and didnt give me credit. Time ran down and i "lost" despite there be no surviving enemies. Given how hard it is to recoop after every battle, this is completely unreasonable. Edit x2 - managed to get past the battle in question. Hoping it was just a fluke. This is otherwise a pretty great game, so cant fault it too hard, despite how frustrating this bug was in the moment
1 ★This game is full of bugs that kill your progress. The worst experience I had was being able to achieve legendary items just for the error message to pop up and reload with my items missing. I think this game would be awesome if it wasn't for the very unhelpful staff that WILL NOT reimburse you or replace lost items due to bug issues.
3 ★Only in the Bronze Age. The biggest challenge in this game so far is cultural item placement. Everything is preset. Suggestion: you should be able to over build troops at expense of food. Ie..reserve troops. Game is completely balanced so all you need is either time or money depending on how quickly you want to play to end game. Nice graphics. It's still early for me so there may be greater challenges ahead. I'll keep playing.
4 ★Best of genre. There's a few things to set this apart. Houses generate coins for 6 whole hours, so you don't have to check every 5 minutes to collect. You don't have to build roads, so you have much greater freedom to design your city's layout. Combat is real time rather than turn based or automated/nonexistent. Only complaint is balance issues. Early on I have a severe shortage of gold. There is nothing to do but wait. Just need to upgrade military but waiting 2 days for gold to stack up.
5 ★It's a really fun game to kill the time, and unlike games like Clash of Clans, the waiting is less. Even if you are waiting for an upgrade or something, there are other things to keep you occupied. It's a good balance. About the ads everyone keeps mentioning: I have never experienced a single ad, unless when trying to get the extra boosts and extra loot gifts etc. which are definitely not necessary if you dont want to watch ads.
2 ★A simplified version of Forge of Empires, which makes it easier to use on a phone, but you can't bank research points making bidding on building blueprints a matter of luck. Events are beyond tedious if you don't buy a special farm. The treasure hunt just seems designed to waste time and resources without giving anything worth getting in return. .....edit: After playing longer I'm subtracting another star. I hate negotiations and refuse to do any more of them. Too expensive and odds are too low
1 ★The game is good but , as of last update if you are an android user, when you donate research points to others players wonders to win blue prints , there is a bug that it tells you to collect. However once the donations (wonder is complete) the winner does not get the blue prints.. so potentially you could spend 100 of your research vials to win and not get anything for winning , and you get 1 research point every hour and can only store 10 max..
1 ★Very minimalistic. You start off in the stone age and work your way up to the iron ages (currently). The combat couldn't be more simplistic, it's all about numbers with a slight emphasis on command abilities. Spearman do the same thing swords and shields do, slings do the same things archers do... I think they are soppose to improve, but it wasn't noticeable. All in all, If you like being bored and doing chores without the satisfaction of ever completing them, this games perfect for you.
3 ★It's an interesting game. Started off promising but as you progress you need more and more absurdly higher number of food to build things. At the point I'm at its a set it and come back hours later to set it again so maybe in a few days I'll have enough food to progress further. Cool graphics and stories but unless you're willing to pay, you will need patience for this game.
5 ★This is a great game. No PvP destroying my kingdom while I sleep. Great PvE play and attainable goals for special events. There's adds, but you don't *have* to watch them and the perks are nice if you do. Don't touch the adds though. It crashes the game and you don't get your reward and there's no way to try and go back to do it again ie:healing. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of adds? If I paid to advertise with this game I'd be mad.
4 ★Great game, alot of fun. Love the no ads, and the graphics are gr8. Just wanted to say some recommendations for ROC. I wish cities could be less blocky. When in the late game, cities fill up the whole map, and look plain ugly. Maybe more expansions, and woods patches would fix this. Also, I wish that the environment would be more important in battles. Thanks,
2 ★With more development and creativity, this game could be pretty good. As it is,it's very repetitive and gets boring. There's a very limited number of challenges you can do and having to collect food multiple times a day to advance is boring.In battles, the units don't appear to have specific strengths. Cavalry getting quotes out by archers? Reinforcements from commanders go where they please. Put them behind enemy archers and they ignore them for some other unit. I'd say more, but no more space
