1 ★It supposedly shows internet outages but it is totally incorrect. When i look at it, it always shows that everything is supposed to be honkydory. Yet we constantly lose connectivity. This has been going on for weeks, always during the day. Have called xfinity numerous times, had a tech here and it remains the same sh.. Now, on the outage map it shows "unplanned outages" a bit to the southwest of us and that is a construction site for a new neighborhood. I wonder if that is the culprit
1 ★Xfinity is garbage. Figured I'd come update this, as my internet and cable are out, YET AGAIN... Xfinity is trash. They can have a "planned outage" but can't "inform the paying customer so they aren't in the middle of update their computer when Xfinity decides to plan their outage". Xfinity is the absolute worst.
2 ★Like every other cable company app I've ever used, this app is impossible to use if you simply want to contact the company and lodge a complaint. It focuses on transferring your service to a new location or paying your bill. I have my bill on auto pay and I don't ever plan.to move, so neither of these are of concern to me. I just wanted to find out why with a premier cable package I can't get 1/4 of the first round NCAA tournament games in HD. This app was of no help whatsoever.
1 ★This APP SUX I can't give it less than 1Star, but honestly I would give it 1/3 of a star that's how bad it is. I have been trying to login to it for over an hour and also been on live chat with xfinity agents for just as long but STILL have not been able to get into it. I keep getting an ERROR message saying They are unable to connect me.
1 ★The app does absolutley nothing special that the website already offers and is almost useless just like the website. Constant ads for the Xfinity app that i already downloaded. Service problems but the app, just like the site, says "everything looks good on our end". Dont waste the space on this one, I deleted it after 10 minutes.
2 ★This app is good for appointment reminders and chat sometimes. The issue is when you want to check and see your current plan itbtells you every single time "sorry looks like you need to call in and talk to a customer service representative". Well I don't want to call in. I hate calling in and waiting 45 minutes for the next available representative who barely understands English and speaks English even less. Same goes with upgrading your services. So Frustrating!
2 ★These apps, I have 4 of them, are not reliable as they tend to close themselves. I've had alot of issues with them. Especially the my account. I literally had to go to my email account to view my bill. I've uninstalled them a cpl times and reinstalled but it did the same thing. It seems ok since last install. Its only kicked me off twice.
5 ★April 2021 Had xfinity/app for a couple of years, until last week, the app had been disorganized, confusing, frustrating, etc.. Now the app is spot on point, clean, clear & very useful & helpful. Customer service has always been awesome but I'm able to navigate quickly through the app so I am a very happy customer now. If only there was a way to receive a text regarding upcoming maintenance whereby my internet will be unavailable for up to six hours... [If you have xfinity, get this app.]
2 ★It will let you pay your bill but won't tell me what the $28 add on is. No extra equipment, and only the speed that was offered, any thing other than payment options opens the web browser and you have to login there and start the prosses over.
3 ★Before, I used to be able to see the data usage for my internet. Now all of a sudden one wlday it was taken away and I have to be directed online instead of the app to see my data usage and when I wanna know, it's telling me it can't connect and I'm just annoyed by it. The easiest way to see it was the app. And now the only thing the app is good for is to pay my bill. Like what is that? Please return that feature. It's really helpful.
1 ★This app is just awful. It used to crash while I used it all the time, now for the past 3 months it won't even open so that I can pay my bill. I have even erased and redownloaded a couple of times. No change. Still cannot open to make a payment. I have to go to the website and sign in to pay.... so what is the app even for if it just has a message that says "sorry, we can't access your information right now. Try again later."
1 ★This app used to be kind of bad, but recently has become unusable with the last several updates. Constant error messages, cant even sign in to pay my bill. This app might be the straw that breaks my back into canceling xfinity altogether. Garbage. Update: Still broken. Still can't use the app to pay my bill. Still a trash app.
