1 ★What have you done?? Giving this 1 star as 0 isn't an option. This update has taken a simple to navigate and use app and completely ruined it. Where is the vidiprinter? Watching scores coming in by this method was the main reason I used it along with the easiness to navigate around the different leagues and tables. And what's with all the ads?? Please restore the old version. 30/11 Don't know what data is being looked at but lots of comments here re the disappearance of the vidiprinter!!
1 ★There is an overwhelming negative response to the update. To put it quite simply sky you have ruined the app. It was very useful. The lack of formation information is terrible. No one wants to see a list. They looked at the graphics then used the list for subs. No one cared if it was accurate. The live table updates during game play was brilliant. Struggle to find any of that now. Too many buttons to press. New way of selecting leagues bad. Trying to find the old version desperately on Google.
1 ★The new update is awful. It's harder to use than it was before and they seem to have gotten rid of some decent features that it had previously. You can only see team lineups now and not the actual team formations, and they only show the most basic match stats. I don't know about anyone else (though I think a fair few people think the same way), but I liked being able to see the more in depth stats like passes, headers and tackles completed, and clear cut chances. Very disappointing.
4 ★7 August - Was the number 1 football app but no longer works like it used to. Live feeds don't work, score notifications don't work. Tried all advice online to resolve the tech issues but nothing works. Doesn't seem like it's getting fixed as it's been like this for a couple of months now. 25th August- finally seems to be fixed now! So far so good, back to its normal usefulness! Thank you!
2 ★Used this app for years, but since the last update I have no commentary during matches, only score, very frustrating now the new season has started, I'm currently have to go and use the main website, I've tried clearing cache and data, also installed and started fresh, still not working, is there a fix for this bug? If not, I will have to start using an other app.
1 ★Was a great app. November update has ruined use of the screen real estate. Top 25% is taken up with static, useless headings. Why can't this all collapse off the top of the screen when scrolling up (if it needs to be there at all). Each match now takes up far more of the screen than needed. Upshot is that you can see far less information on screen than you used to. What's wrong with home team on left, away team on right. Score in the middle? UI has been seriously botched.
1 ★Dreadful update, everything's a mess to find on the app its really not a good layout at all. Scores are not great updating "live" you get one score on the games list, then you click that game and get a completely different score. I've since deleted the app as its just a complete nightmare to use. with regards to your reply about a small amount of people using the vidiprinter so we should add games to the my scores section. Its not good when people have a wider intrest in football as a whole
1 ★Why?!?? Been using this app perfectly fine before but now with these changes the simplest things are gone. For example, you can no longer see table standings for Champions League games. Why the hell would you remove that?!?! Even the teams form has gone. That was ideal to help with betting on the SkyBet app. Looks like I'll go to the BBC Sport app instead. The haptic feedback should really be toggled on the app. Its not best practice for all users.
1 ★New update doesn't seem to reflect the needs of its users - I want easy access to scores but not only is the flow through the app more convoluted than it used to be, the presentation of scores on the right hand side and away from the team names makes it harder to scan, and the loss of the videprinter is a huge regressive step. In reaction to the response from Sky, the My Scores feature doesn't replace what has been lost.
1 ★Terrible new layout. I should never have updated. I could easily keep up to date with what was happening in the world of football as the information was displayed in a nice and easy to digest format. With this new layout, the information is displayed in a confusing format, I cannot keep track of what is happening any more. I had to download the "premier league app", "La liga app", "champions league ap"...etc. as I was missing games instead of getting all my football information from one app.
1 ★This used to be my favourite football scores app. It was outstanding. But after the update and visual revamp it's become totally hopeless. It doesn't auto update the scores. The interface is clunky. Team formations have gone. Etc. Basically they've taken what made the app brilliant and changed it worse the worse. Sure its glitzy but it's hopeless as a scores app. I've given up. If only I could go back to the previous version.
1 ★Should be an option for zero stars. Scrolling in this buggy app is so frustrating. When you scroll through commentary on a game, if you miss something and scroll back up it refreshes and you have to start again. There once was a time when this app was beautiful in its simplicity but unfortunately whoever makes the final decisions on changes doesn't listen to the people who actually use the app!!
