A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Absolutely unstable app; you can rely on it to give one error or another for a credit card you've used multiple times, as you try to purchase a ticket for a train you will ultimately miss because of the incompetence of this app's developer. Station names that are searched for all the time need to be typed in anew each time, there is no memory for stations, only for routes. EDIT: after years, finally comes an update, Feb 23, which is full of bugs and totally untested. What a joke of a company!!
1 ★Regular ÖBB traveller. ÖBB unfortunately does not always show in their app when regional trains are cancelled. One then discovers this when arriving at the station. This is obviously annoying when a connection is missed and the ticket is only valid for that particular connection. When asking at the station's ÖBB service, they simply refuse to either believe you, let alone offer some help, which simply means the ticket has become invalid. A few of those experiences make the app untrustworthy.
1 ★I use this app since more than 3 years now. It is still the WORST app which includes payment / ticketing that I ever used. It keeps crashing during payment, it often happened that I paid and did not receive my ticket. About 50% of the time I have to restart (force stop and start again) it during the ticket control because the ticket is not shown. Luckily most of the ticket inspectors know that the app is not working as expected. Fix it. Please.
1 ★Loading, loading and after that expired... I missed the train because of this
5 ★Great app. It is easy to use and shows the train schedule in real time. I did not have to create an account to use the app. Everything showed correctly on the app in English. The payment process for tickets was also easy. Worked perfectly for me.
1 ★Awful! Not practical at all! And it bugs when you reverse destination and original locations (it says an error occurred). Travel history was much more practical with the previous version! Seriously, guys! Why always change for a worse version, something that works perfectly??
3 ★The app has become quite stable, and it has become really easy to buy tickets, good job! Here are some ideas for more improvements though: 1. I don't see why my name has to appear on each ticket, this is not the case if I buy a ticket at the train station. 2. It'd be nice to be able add the Vorteilscard (or other benefits) to the main screen. 3. It would be great if you could provide the location of the pictures in the background. Thanks, keep up the good work!
2 ★Ticket access via phone/pdf etc. choices are confusing and a pain. Also just checking timetables is too complicated and takes too long.
1 ★Was good, until now, i can not buy any tickets, when i go to the buying options, the screen is just blank! I literally can not buy a ticket...
1 ★Wrong information. Missing train. Boarding from Obertraun-Dachsteinhohlen, the app indicated train leave on platform 2. The train came in Platform 1 with no train number and destination. All waiting passengers missed the train because lousy information. Have to wait 1:30 hours for next train.
5 ★Used it for about 2 years daily, only had a problem once and i don't even know of it was the apps fault. App restart immediately solved the problem. Full refund within the first couple of minutes, half price refund before halftime of the ticket duration is a great feature! Payment also always worked, even after a timeout, i had the ticket automatically after a couple of minutes. Only downside: Phone change requires ÖBB personal when using a mobile ticket.
1 ★The new app made pretty much every single feature more complicated to use. Loading times are absolutely terrible compared to the old one and booking now involves a lot more steps compared to before. It's just really annoying having to work with the new one knowing that the old one worked perfectly fine.
