In 1969, Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) was commissioned by Random House to illustrate a small, exclusive edition of Lewis Carrol’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865). Dalí painted 12 images for 12 chapters of the book. In this app, Dr Svetlana Rudenko composed on Art images of Dalí and Prof. Mads Haahr narrated the text. The app places the 12 art, music and story encounters around you geographically using augmented reality and lets you find them in an exciting art and music treasure hunt.
Meet the White Rabbit, the Mock Turtle, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter and all the other characters, and get to know the Art of Salvador Dalí for children.
