Say It Backwards app is a sound recorder app with one goal - record a sound and play it back in reverse. Thats it. Such simple tool gives you enormous possibilities. I personally play with my kids and entertain my friends. Check how "NOW" becomes "ONE", and if you practice a little you can learn to say short sentences backwards. Listening to known songs, jingles or other sounds can be surprising.Give it a try with English words: "easy", "Funny enough", "Amor Roma", "say yes" - those are all phonetic palindromes.
While making this app I have realized there is a whole conspiration theory about backmasking - give it a search on Youtube or Wikipedia - you will be suprised. My favourite one is "Oh no, you're playing the record backwards. Watch out, you might ruin your needle" ... at least using Say It Backwards app you will not ruin your needle :)

5 ★I love it. Especially I say it in reverse and play it than. You die of 8 laughterer. This is one of those app you love to have. I would love to have another button to play the original recording. So you can here, in my case, what I said backwards and than you must guess. Or just reverse, you hear the backwards and use the second play button to hear the original. This is like karaoke. Must be present on any party.. Fun 100% And to proof it I just bought this app. My first buy in 5 years. I love this Works again after un installing and installing again. Thx for the quick fix and support. Another idea is to add several "Slots" where you can record sounds. So for a quiz it would be great so you can choose which slot to hear.
3 ★preety decent if you would ask a person like me,but there are some difficulties in every game,lets start of with that when you play the game and in your vocaborlary you sudenly think of mom or dad,you would say the word of your choice but it would sound close to be the same,but who can blame them? the second thing on my list is that the sound is a bit fuzzy or at least for me that is. But again every game out there has some difuculty dosent it?
4 ★It's great! I gave it 4 and not 5 because it has a slight lag, from the moment you press record you need to give it a fraction of a second before you start speaking or else the first part won't come out, you also need to leave a fraction of a second of silence at the end for the same reason. You get used to it though, and other than that it's everything it should be. It could be my phone's fault, but it's not like I have the absolute worst one out there.
5 ★Great for learning to talk backwards... especially if your a musician ! just say something regularly, then play it backwards, then add a track just repeat what you hear! thanks guys, you did what they do in the studio! all in a great app on a phone or tablet! great for trying out musical ideas when you cant get to the studio!!
1 ★I am very unhappy with this app. I would say a word into the recording phone then I would play it back. The irratating part is that it wouldnt play back the recording right. It would try to say something, but it would only glitch. Dont get this app. Its no good. I didnt even want to put the 1 star but it wouldnt let me post this unless i did. 😑
5 ★A top notch app which is an essential tool on the belt of a linguistic engineer. with "Say It Backwards App" I am now able to grasp a spoken expression and hear that conveyance in such a way as to allow others to listen to the sound of an "ursam" virtual torpedo being launched from a sandwich upon submodulation waves. Picture a 3-D rendered Dr. Manhattan in the era of Richard Nixon.

3 ★it's a pretty good app but I played a word for example eagle and it played it backwards and when I said it backwards it didn't say eagle it would be really nice if they fix us up a little bit more if you want a high-quality app don't get this if you really don't care this app is good for you
5 ★This program had us all laughing at the way things sounded backwards. Then we tried to see who could mimick the backwards words and see how close we could get to the original. Record the phrase "San Francisco, California". See what that sounds like backwards. That phrase had us laughing for days.
4 ★people think words like tacocat and racecar sound the same backwards, but this is false. they may be spelled the same forwards and backwards, but this app tells the true sound. And to reply to the most critical review, your voice sounds different to you then to other people because it vibrates off your jawbone changing the sound.
5 ★It delivers what it promises! What more could I ask for? (maybe longer recording time? more tracks, folders to save, but maybe I just haven't figured out how, which would be my fault & not yours...I haven't used it enough) Otherwise, its great though...no complaints.
3 ★The app is good and i downloaded it giving it about an hours try. The problems, you can't save your recordings to be used as a notification sound or ring tone. 2nd, to many advertisements. The advertising stops the recording. I deleted this one and found one that better but this one is still good 👍.
