**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**“Avaya one-X Mobile Preferred for IP Office” is an application for Android powered smart phones to be used by mobile workforce and will work with Avaya IP Office 8.0 (or higher) with Preferred Edition license only. Please do not install if you do not have IP Office 8.0 (or higher) Preferred Edition.
Avaya one-X Mobile Preferred for IP Office is an easy-to-use software application that securely extends unified communications to Smartphone for mobile workforce. It is designed to give mobile users quick access to productivity enhancements features such as Instant Messaging (IM), mobile presence, geo-presence, visual voicemail, conference call controls and delivers cost savings by routing mobile calls through enterprise dialing feature.
Major Features:
• Integrated VoIP client (requires IP Office 9.0 or higher)
• Secure Signaling and Media for VoIP with certificate validation (requires IP Office 9.1 or higher)
• Presence and Instant Messaging with server-side buddy lists, server-managed user groups and client-side IM history
• Visual Voicemail (VM) with ability to play voicemail messages and manage your VM messages from the mobile application
• Rich conference controls with click-to-conference for users and groups, entry and exit notifications, the ability to view and manage conference participants (mute/un-mute/disconnect/isolate), the ability to see which participant is speaking and the ability to lock and unlock the conference
• Advanced user presence monitoring and reporting including geo-location presence and tracking, calendar and on-the-phone presence, following user’s presence and availability
• Call Screening with ability to listen and intercept voicemail deposits
• Ability to issue commands to the communications server including call, conference, set location, listen/pickup
• Enterprise Dialing, which is an ability to intercept calls made via standard phone dialer and turn them into enterprise calls (3rd party call control by the server). Ability to define dial plan rules to select which calls to intercept and ability to post-process the dialed numbers to normalize them to the enterprise dialing plan to make the intercept seamless
• Android home screen widget with summary of outstanding events
• Notify mobile users about events of interest such as outstanding IM messages, new deposited VM messages, conference participants entry/exits, VM deposit in progress

2 ★Does not load correctly. Only get screen for log upload or exit. Was all working correctly now on version 10.0.0.4.215. Uninstalled and reinstalled Good when it working

1 ★A few minutes after the screen turns off the connection to the server is lost (notification gets a red outline) so you don't recieve any VOIP calls. That is even after turning battery optimisation off in the android settings. Makes it fairly useless as a phone app.
2 ★The most recent update now has this app using more battery power than everything but Android itself. Painful.
5 ★Update: was able to get it working. Still no support from either the app developer nor Avaya or DataVox. Now getting the voice mail cannot be fetched error and cannot make calls. IM works. ---- Setting up this feature on the IP office is a nightmare. I still have problems connecting to One X. They could have used a better connection protocol and a true set up help documentation would have gone long way.
1 ★No settings option for oneplus three. This makes the app completely unusable. I'll update this review once it is fixed. Very disappointing.
1 ★We've just upgraded our IPO to Preferred Edition and duly downloaded this app for the mobile users. It's basically unusable at the moment as there's no settings button to configure or even exit the client unless on screen navigation controls are available. If your smartphone only has hardware navigation controls then this app is completely useless until Avaya fix this issue. The fact that you can't exit the app without a settings button compounds the second big issue with this app and that's horrendous battery drain. Layout of the app, when it is working, is not particularly intuitive and rather clunky. Tapping the oversized voicemail button on the home screen for instance just takes you to the call history page where your voicemails will be listed somewhere in the list rather than having a dedicated page. Tapping on the status icon in the notifications shade (which is always visible whilst the client is running, even when the app is closed) simply presents a blank screen with the version number at the top. Put simply, this app is not fit for purpose in its current version and I couldn't recommend it.
3 ★Can't Open Settings Menu in my phone LYF FLAME 8 I bought a new phones of LYF just to use Onex but it is not showing menu OR settings button and floating menu. It's urgent please tell me what to do.

1 ★LGG2 without hardware buttons and Im unable to find or open the settings menu. I can see you've recommended upgrading to 10.0.0.1.189 and I've done that but I'm still unable to locate the settings menu. Please describe where the menu settings are located in version 10.0.0.1.189.
2 ★Love the app but cannot access settings unless I disable the hardware buttons on my Oneplus One. Really needs a permanent settings button as the floating one is now are to find on this device. But is on the Samsung Note 4 we have in the office.
