Have you ever wondered what neighborhood you're in walking around New York City? What about certain landmarks, or your own apartment?locality.nyc is your source for New York City neighborhood information. Search by address, landmark, or geolocate to your current location. Tap the neighborhood name to see more detailed information, including historical summaries and demographics. Neighborhoods are overlaid transparently on top of a Google Map, allowing you to see where you are block by block.
Data adapted from nyc.gov, OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia, and Google Maps. All neighborhood boundaries are subject to debate.
