5 ★Great app until latest Android update. I run a Google Pixel 2 (not the latest Google phone, bit still kept up to date). I recently (2 weeks ago) had a System Update and now this app no longer works for my phone. Design team should definitely be keeping up to date on this more regularly. I've now uninstalled this app with the hopes to reinstall at a later date. Edit: all updated, so downloaded again. Zero problems. Thanks team!
2 ★Use it all the time BUT everytime I try to update price it crashes. Have tried a reinstall but same problem.
1 ★Free feature suddenly become paid - the discount calculation. This is not how you monetize your app guys, get some marketing lessons, people are pretty pi**ed off. Btw: the discount screen is locked down to any values you had set up before. Now I cannot even change it to zero. Had different discounts per different brands based on current promo which is now locked in app forever.
1 ★Used to think this app was marvellous. Have recommended it to friends and have used it regularly myself when buying fuel but today unexpectedly received notification that Gaspy had logged into my FB account and drawn down my personal information. When I logged in to FB to check I found Gaspy had lined up my PayPal account to pay for their premium service. I did NOT give permission to Gaspy for any of that. The only permission I granted was to share my location (which is obviously required if you want to find the cheapest petrol nearby). This is just creepy and dishonest! I'm outta here. Have deleted my account. Never going to use this app again and will be telling anyone who wants to listen that they should avoid it. Minus 5 stars!!!
1 ★Disappointing that the developers are so greedy that the advertising revenue from 500,000 users is not enough and now they are charging for a service that was previously free, the irony being that you have to pay more money if you want it to work well and save you money, it remains free, albeit with a large amount of advertising, if you want it to work not so well...... Nice way to treat data they got for free out of good will of the users ! I will be uninstalling this app.
1 ★The developers sabotaged the app with the latest update with the Z and Caltex gas stations, then release a new update and it crashes on my phone, I uninstall it, and the install hangs, but eventually installs after a long delay. The developers introduce bug fixes or (so called improvements) and it just stop the app from working at all. Quite a simple app, not a lot of graphics and they botch it up for old phones.
5 ★This was a great app. Since the last update a few days ago, this app does not open. It just keeps crashing. Yes I am running Android 11. The latest update just now has fixed the issue and Gaspy is back working. Thanks. I have adjusted the review to 5 stars.
2 ★Great ap when it works. Only opens 30% of the time as it will not allow you to look up future locations if the gps signal is not strong. So even if you have Wi-Fi internet access will not load to allow for location searches without the location finder also running. Would be better if there was an option to use without the location finder feature
1 ★It was working well but no longer does. Cant get petrol prices for anywhere.
4 ★So useful when on the road but so slow to use! Going back and forth between different locations takes an age. One useful feature would be an ability to add a route and the app could tell you where the cheapest petrol stations were along the route and how much detour time they would add.
3 ★Love what is does, that you can put in loyalty card discounts and easily update prices, but what I'm missing a lot is the function to show the gas stations on a map. Especially on a trip it is so much more convenient to see if you will pass by a cheap one than just see how many kms it is from you now. Please add this!!
5 ★Great app and definitely saves money. Appreciate it guys. Ill click a few ads to say thanks. One suggestion which would be great is to be able to filter by brand. I have a fuel card so only go to Mobil. Be great to just be able to see Mobil only. Thanks.
