Description
Le autolinee Infante, nascono come ditta individuale per trasporto posta e passeggeri, nel lontano 1927, per opera del suo fondatore Infante Angelo Raffaele, per l’appunto.Nato in un piccolo borgo nell’entroterra cilentano, Lustra Cilento, il sig. Angelo Raffaele si trasferisce nel comune di Camerota e qui stabilisce la nuova sede aziendale, istituendo le prime corse da e per lo scalo ferroviario di Centola e gli abitati di Lentiscosa e Marina di Camerota.
Nel corso degli anni, e con l’avvento di nuovi e più moderni mezzi, insieme alla rete stradale che andava finalmente ampliandosi, le autolinee Infante espandono l’aerea di competenza fino a collegare le cittadine di Sapri e Vallo della Lucania ed a servire giornalmente il nuovo scalo ferroviario di Pisciotta – Palinuro, anche grazie all’apertura della strada costiera che collega il comune di Centola al comune di Camerota.
Oggi, grazie al lavoro del figlio, Domenico Infante, e dei suoi nipoti, le autolinee Infante si trasformano nella Società Infante Angelo Raffaele & C. S.a.s., che porta il nome del suo fondatore, ampliando competenze e servizi offerti.
Negli anni 90, nasce l’agenzia “Infante Viaggi e turismo”, che diventa in qualità di tour operator e servizi di biglietteria un punto di riferimento per l’intera comunità di Camerota e dei paesi facenti parte dell’area comunale. Oltre ad offrire servizio di trasporto per gli studenti delle scuole superiori verso gli istituti di Vallo di Lucania e di Sapri, l’azienda vanta una flotta di autobus GT e mezzi NCC per i servizi di noleggio e tour nazionali ed internazionali, nel pieno rispetto delle direttive europee ed Italiane.
Con il lavoro dei suoi dipendenti, la società Infante Angelo Raffaele, continua l’opera di espansione e miglioramento dei propri servizi, venendo apprezzata e considerata, dai più grandi tour operator campani ed internazionali.
