Description

It is intended for use by transgender men and other gender-nonconforming individuals, who bind their chest. If you have any questions about chest binding, here's the buzzfeed article for you: http://goo.gl/E0eacZ

The purpose of this app is to help people wear their chest binders the minimum amount possible, as they are somewhat dangerous to wear for extended periods of time. There is timed-based functionality which will remind you in the morning to set your binder as being on, and from that point will remind you to stretch every X number of hours and then to take off your binder after X number of hours.

How to install Binder Reminder APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★Amazing help for me! Great for trans* people or even cosplayers who bind. I like how you can change the color theme now. It would be cool to choose a notification sound and to go into it and be able to see a stopwatch of how long you've been binding. A widget would be awesome, with a thing showing how long it's been on and a button that says on and off. Also, it would be good to say the reason why you shouldn't bind more than 8 hours at a time because some people don't know why, and might get hurt. Thanks!

4 ★i certainly like this app, but i do have a suggestion. i'm still in school and our schedules are not perfectly split up to an hour each. they're all about an hour and twenty-five minutes. for the timed stretch reminders, putting a minutes setting would be very helpful for those who don't have hourly schedules

4 ★First off, kudos to you for making this, it is an amazing thing, that many people may need. The timers and reminders are awesome, and the fact that you can change their times are awesome. My main issue, is the colour scheme: low contrast makes it really hard to see/read any of the buttons, and you might want to exclude pink in an app direct at trans men, as many may find it causes dysphoria. A suggestion: an option to have your binder automatically 'on' at a certain time, but maybe on a weekly basis. It can be hard to remember to check an app every morning, especially if the person using it has busy mornings, or rushed mornings. Keep up the good work, and best of luck!

4 ★There arent really a lot of customizable settings. Like I dont know how the reminder will go off? Notification, actual noise, etc. There should be an options menu for something like that.
