The book of Shri Shiv Lilamrut consists 14 chapters and a total of 2453 Ovis. In Maharashtra almost all Marathi devotees of Lord Shiva daily read Shri Shiv Lila Amruta. It was written by the famous poet saint of Maharashtra Shri P.P Shridhar Swami at Baramati in the year 1718. His householder name was Shridhar NarayanShastri Nazarekar. He was born in the year 1658 in a village named Nazare, which is in Solapur District of Maharashtra. His family moved to Pandharpur when he was 20 years old. In Pandharpur he spent his time doing Kirtanas and Pravachans on Puranas. Harivijay was the first book he wrote, Shri ShivLilamrit was his 6th & the last.
