4 ★Love it/Hate it. It's an excellent app in almost all respects, but I have a problem with the queue. About half the time I try to add one song, I end up adding the performer's entire library. Not always bad, but I do setup lists for jobs like mowing the lawn where I want it livelier as I go on, but I unexpectedly end up with 178 songs instead of the 12 I was shooting for. Once I figure out the queue (if I'm paying attention trying to figure out how it happens, it doesn't), I'll add a star.
5 ★I have tried several music apps. And this one (Musicolet) is by far the best for my very large collection of downloaded MP3 playlists (with the largest one being 8,125 songs). Mind you no app is perfect, but this one is as close to perfect as you're going to get. In my opinion it's just the best, hands down. Took me some experimenting and playing with the settings, but it wasn't too difficult and I got it all set up just the way I like it. Yay!!! 😀
5 ★How have I not reviewed this yet.... Musicolet is simply an excellent music app, feature-packed yet eligantly designed and executed. I can't say enough good things about this app. I wanted to get back into storing music locally instead of streaming and this is the perfect music player for managing and playing a local library. Thank you for making music on Android as pleasant as it should be.
5 ★Great music player app. My only wish is that there was an easy way, when going into shuffle mode, to pick a song to start with, without having to scroll through all of them. For example, if I want to hear Rocket Man first, then I search for 'rocket' and start, I'll have a shuffle playlist of songs related to 'rocket'. On my device, that's a playlist of one song (I think). Other than that, is the best music player app I've ever used on Android.
5 ★I started using this player primarily for its very flexible search capabilities and as my use became more exclusive, I am constantly surprised at how many useful features are present. It seems the developers have thought of everything one would want in a music player. Great for listening too and arranging a classical music library.
5 ★Okay this app really deserves all the hype. I'm really want to stop using streaming services and this is a huge help in that process, it does everything you need it to do, organize by genre, album, artists, release year, you can search and download album art right from the app, even sync up lyrics, and all with no ads!!!!!! Seriously the fact that there's no ads or additional in app purchases is a blessing, I couldn't be happier with this find!!!! Dev team, keep up the good work and thank you!!!
1 ★Not sure if this is an issue with any recent update, but this player will play a few songs without issue then will all of a sudden skip to another song. Then keeps increasing frequency of skipping until it just flashes through titles and won't play more than a few seconds of a song. Tried rebooting phone, forcing app to stop, cleared cache .. same issue over and over. Unusable I tried modifying the decoder but the issue persisted. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working for now
5 ★it does exactly what you want a music player to do and nothing you don't. See ya, spotify, you won't be missed. I bought the "pro" upgrade just to support the app, I felt I was missing 0 functionality without it. Its easy to use, responsive, and very customizable.
5 ★This app is beautifully perfect for using for everything! It's easy to set up and if you need to change an audio's information you can do it right through the app! The search feature is SUPER helpful when trying to find music too! I highly recommend this app to everyone!
5 ★Fantastic music player app. There's zero intrusive or passive ads, and the free version has pretty much anything a casual user needs, but the price for the pro features is more than worth it. I've been using this app for years and it's consistently amazing.
5 ★so far i am really liking this app. but there is one problem. it keeps shutting itself off randomly. and when i open my phone it shows that it was shut off by my phone. and tells me to go to my battery settings to put this app in the never sleep section. here is the problem. i have that shut off. my phone does not close any app at all that i am "not using". also, musicolet is not available in the never sleep section. this app does not show up at all. Impressed that the dev actually got back.
5 ★This is by far the best program ive ever had the privilege of using. All the problems ive had with previous music players are all fixed with this one. Ads arent in your face, you can add album art at ease as well as fix the file tags. The interface couldn't be better. Thank you
