A fundraiser full of Music, Food, Bikes, and activities for the kids all on Hatbox for The Barracks of Muskogee October 7th. This year a building was donated to house the much-needed Veteran facility in Muskogee located at the old Grace Living Center on Okmulgee. The Barracks is to be a centralized area where all Veteran resources can be readily available and to have a place where our Veterans can call their own for all their learning and recreational needs. This building was also going to have 10 beds available for any homeless Veteran in our area. Three months ago, vandals broke into the facility and robbed the copper from all the resident rooms AC, destroyed sinks, toilets, tiles. They also climbed the roof to steal the cooper from the roof units which left holes in the ceiling damaging inside ceiling tiles and carpet. We need extra funds to help restore this building, expenses we were not prepared for. All proceeds from Bikelahoma will go directly to help finance the expenses necessary to get The Barracks up and goingLatest updates
