Description
Important: SBB Preview is the preview version of the SBB Mobile app. We are using SBB Preview to test new and innovative functions and features which we want to include in the SBB Mobile app in future.The basic functions for timetable enquiries – and for ticket purchases – for journeys anywhere in Switzerland are the same in SBB Preview as in SBB Mobile. We’ve kept the Preview app in grey to make it easier to distinguish.
The heart of the app is the new navigation bar with the following menu points and contents:
Plan:
• Plan your journey with a simple timetable request via the touch timetable or use your current position as the origin or destination, locating it on the map.
• Buy your ticket for the whole of Switzerland in just two clicks. Your travelcards on your SwissPass are applied.
• Travel particularly affordably with supersaver tickets or Saver Day Passes.
Trips:
• When purchasing tickets, your journey will be saved in the ‘Journeys’ tab.
• Even if you don’t buy a ticket, you can save your journey manually in the timetable.
• The app accompanies you from door to door as you travel and you will receive information about delays, disruption and interchange times via push notification.
EasyRide:
• Check in, get on and set off – across the entire GA Travelcard network.
• EasyRide calculates the right ticket for your journey on the basis of the routes you travelled on and charges you the relevant amount subsequently.
Tickets and travelcards:
• Show your public transport travelcards digitally with SwissPass Mobile.
• It also gives you an overview of your valid and expired tickets and travelcards on the SwissPass.

• Straightforward access to your personal settings and our customer support.

Why does SBB Preview need permissions?
Location:
For connections starting from a current location, the GPS function has to be activated so that SBB Preview can find the nearest stop. This also applies if you want to have the nearest stop displayed in the timetable.
Calendar and e-mail:
You can save connections in your own calendar and send them by e-mail (to friends, an external calendar). SBB Preview requires read and write permissions to be able to import your desired connection into the calendar.
Access to the camera:
To take photos straight in SBB Preview for the personalised touch timetable, the app needs access to the camera. You will be asked for permission.
Internet access:
SBB Preview needs internet access for timetable informations and ticket purchase options.
Memory:
To support offline functions such as the list of stops, connections (history) and ticket purchase, SBB Preview needs access to your device’s memory (save app-specific settings).

2 ★Die easy ride Funktion ist meiner Meinung nach nicht für Sparer sondern nur wenn man zu faul ist, die beste / günstigste Lösung selber zu suchen. Werden überhaupt Abos, Tageskartn berücksichtigt? Wenn ich den ganzen Tag fahren würde, ab wann merkt easy ride, dass es teurer wird als die Tageskarte? Ah... Und ich bin zu faul die AGBs zu lesen... Vor allem auf dem Handy...
4 ★Die Navigation vom Fahrplan zum SwissPass (und auch wieder zurück) sollte viel einfacher gehen. Es braucht 3-4 Klicks um auf Home zu gelangen und zwei weitere um den SwissPass zu öffnen. Für den Kontrolleur mühsam, weil er warten muss, bis ich mich durchgeklickt habe und für mich mühsam, weil mein Fahrplan nacher wieder weg ist.

3 ★SwissPass is saved but if controlled it is not value unlike the physical version. Any idea? Solved. Destroying UX with biiig Ads ...... Not a good practice for this kind of app...

1 ★It is useless since I can't add the Swiss pass and I can't add the half-fare card. I contacted the customer care and they just told me: ----- As we can see in our system, your SwissPass card is active in your SBB mobile preview app. However, it is not possible to upload the SwissPass card on the SBB standard application. ----- without any further explanation
3 ★Wo bleibt der App Shortcut um direkt das GA anzeigen zu können? Aktuellsind min. 3 Interaktionen notwendig (inkl. App öffnen); sogar 5, wenn ichnoch Verbindungen gesucht habe. Durch den App Shortcut würde das auf eineInteraktion reduziert werden. Touch Timetable bitte auch gleich als AppShortcut...
5 ★It even now let's me show my GA or Halbtax.. 1 less card to carry around.All other now classic good features seem to work, and I look forward totrack my travel and co2 savings by using trains.
3 ★I have installed preview version for using virtual Swiss pass. Even afterlogging in, my GA is not shown, but somehow it works for my family.
1 ★Travel cockpit does not work. This means that you cannot participate in therefund program for the works this summer which cause me 1 hour ofadditional way to work each day. Please test better before doing such pilotprojects. Extremely annoying. GA in app works great by the way
2 ★Only got the preview app because it features the possibility of having theGA on one's phone. Well, about that... Currently it's implemented so thatthe GA screen is timestamped, which totally sucks! The other day the trainpersonnel refused it because of a 2 minute delay between opening the appand the QR code being scanned. Absolutely unacceptable if you have a spottyinternet connection and want to make sure your screen is already loaded bythe time it needs to be scanned! Please fix this
5 ★Die Funktion "SwissPass card" gibt nur die möglichkeit ein GA zuhinterlegen, nicht jedoch es vorzuweisen bei einer Kontrolle. Eine Option"SwissPass Mobile" existiert jedoch auch nicht obwohl dies für die neueVersion angekündigt war. Re: Hat geklappt, die neue Version war wohl zuvornicht verfügbar für mein Gerät.
