Hyakkimaru is the main protagonist of the Dororo Series. He is a ronin searching for parts of Hyakkimaru 's body that were stolen fromHyakkimaru by demons and slaying said demons. The demons originally took Hyakkimaru 's body parts as part of a pact with Hyakkimaru 's father and archenemy. After learning the
entire truth from Hyakkimaru 's mother, Hyakkimaru vows to kill Hyakkimaru 's father and brother and regain all of Hyakkimaru 's missing body parts. He is accompanied on Hyakkimaru 's harsh journey
by a young thief named Dororo.
