A Associação Capixaba Contra o Câncer Infantil – (Acacci) surge, em 1988, nas dependências do Hospital Estadual Infantil Nossa Senhora da Glória (Heinsg), localizado em Vitória, Espírito Santo. Hoje a Acacci segue com o seu propósito primordial: oferecer às crianças e aos adolescentes em tratamento de câncer, bem como suas famílias, um programa de assistência com uma abordagem integrativa e complementar, que abrange as dimensões física, psicossocial e espiritual.A ACACCI é membro do Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente (Concav), do Conselho Municipal da Assistência Social (Comasv), do Conselho Estadual de Assistência Social (Ceas). Possui Certificado de Entidade Beneficente de Assistência Social na Área de Saúde (CEBAS). Em 2018, foi premiada com o Troféu Atitude de Ouro, na categoria Voluntariado, pelo Instituto Ronald McDonald. Em 2020 a instituição foi vencedora do concurso nacional Setembro Dourado, promovido pela Coniacc, tendo a sua campanha publicada a nível nacional por meio das casas de apoio.
