Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★If you don't scroll high enough on the phone's screen, when in a news article, it jumps to the next news article. Please get rid of that, or modify it. I prefer your old app.
1 ★You cannot share any articles nor can you copy and paste any sections of any articles because they have that blocked it's time to ditch the app
5 ★Update!
3 ★Far better than it was. Getting rid of the "Up Next" thing at the bottom of the screen would just about make the whole thing just about worthwhile. I don't get Canadian news news sites using geolocation to make some of the app unusable outside of Canada. Bad for expats trying to keep up. Nobody else does except Canadian apps.
1 ★Slows my phone down like crazy. Nothing really loads well.
2 ★Mobile app NO resolution selection ☹️☹️☹️
1 ★Well, you absolutely BLEW IT on your new App. It is no longer easy to use (scroll), viewing the content is a mish mash of ads, stories, live tv, that is a total mess, and too much on the eyes. The removal of Local content (specifically Van Is) was a poor decision. The creator tried to do WAY too much. Less is better. I'll be moving to CBC. By the looks of the response since launching, I'm not the only one who thinks you'd best remedy the App and return to a much more streamlined format.
3 ★Does not download on the phone
1 ★News stories conveniently have a video in the header areas. The contents of this video are not necessarily related at all to the article in question, and these videos start with a non-skippable ad. I would not have a problem with an unstoppable ad if the video were related to the article, but how it's organized now is a bald-faced money grab from ad revenues. I don't appreciate wasting time sitting through an ad when the video in no way relates to the article that I tapped on to read.
1 ★Local stories aren't local. It's a mix of local and stories from all over Canada. Why even give us a Local option? Copying a link to share doesn't work from the app. You have to open the story in a browser and copy the link from there. The lack of editorial staff is made obvious by the abundance of grammar and spelling errors in every story (they seem to lack both editors and spell check), as well as formatting errors. Articles are often posted as a wall of text, with no paragraphs.
