Description

This application is being made available only to individuals who have consented to take part in clinical activities with Medtronic. This product is not approved for use in every country. In those countries where it is not approved, it is being made available for clinical research use only.

An easy way to view the glucose levels and insulin pump information of a person with diabetes right on your phone. When a family member or a friend has diabetes, you want to be supportive and stay close. You might want to know if their glucose levels go too high or too low, be able to quickly and easily access their insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system information. With the CareLink™ Clinical app, now you can remotely see their glucose levels and insulin pump information wherever you are, so you can know how they are doing.

The CareLink™ Clinical app helps you quickly accomplish these tasks: Let you securely view glucose levels, graphs, and trends Sends you high or low glucose levels notifications, so you can be informed and supportive Shows you the status of the insulin pump system, for greater peace of mind.

To remotely view pump system information, family members or friends need to install the CareLink™ Clinical app on their smartphone. Also, the person with diabetes needs a MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump and to download the MiniMed™ Mobile app, which then should be connected online to the CareLink™ software. To learn more about the CareLink™ Clinical app, visit www.medtronicdiabetes.com

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive real-time updates, the app needs to continuously receive data from the CareLink™ servers, and the insulin pump system needs to sync with the CareLink™ servers through the MiniMed™ Mobile app. The CareLink™ Clinical app only works with the MiniMed™ 770G and MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump systems; it currently does not support other standalone CGM systems, MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps.

The CareLink™ Clinical app is intended to provide a secondary display of insulin pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) system data on a supported mobile device. CareLink™ Clinical app is not intended to replace the real-time display of insulin pump or CGM data on the primary display device. All therapy decisions should be based on the primary display device. CareLink™ Clinical app is not intended to analyze or modify the insulin pump and CGM data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the insulin pump or CGM system to which it is connected. CareLink™ Clinical app is not intended to receive information directly from the insulin pump or CGM system.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
