DON'T RELY ON A CONNECTION
• Access the latest activity even when no connection is available thanks to an offline database.
• Submit your latest observations even when offline.
• Downlaod additional data if more is required.

PRIVACY
• Location Permission: used to suggest nearby geysers. If you deny this permission, suggestions will be based on your last entered eruption instead.
• Approximate Location Permission: used to calculate sunrise and sunset time for automatic night mode. If you deny this permission, fixed times will be used instead.
• Google Analytics for Firebase: collects usage and behavior data for improving the user experience. You can opt out within the settings.
• Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports for faster and easier bug fixes. You can opt out within the settings.
• GeyserTimes Account: for the attribution and credibility of data users must identify themselves using their real name and email address to submit data. All data can be accessed without an account, though.

As cellular data connectivity and Wi-Fi availability is limited in Yellowstone, we recommend downloading and setting up the app before you arrive as well as syncing the app before leaving your accommodation every day.

How to install GeyserTimes APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download GeyserTimes APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★Streaming the O F cam to our tv is a great feature with this app and chromecast!
4 ★Chromecast streaming of webcam would be a nice option.
5 ★Simple, easy to enter times and pull up data, the best feature by far is the ability for you to enter a time disconnected from cell service or wifi, and then it will enter that time to the system whenever you connect. Outstanding!

1 ★Didn't work, needed connection, limited to no service in Yellowstone!
5 ★Many of the versions 1.XX would not install, worked erratically, and often locked up my device. Version 2.0 fixed all that and provided a great platform. However, this version is not compatible with older versions of the Android operating system. A small price to pay for the greatly improved consistency. Not sure why one would want to access the streaming web cam from within the app, but I will tell you that doing so delays your feed. My wife viewed Beehive 30sec before me via internet connection to the web cam sitting right next to me using the same broadband connection and wireless router. I personally am not sure that I like the new layout of Version 3.0. I have lost my single button access to “Selected Geysers”, which is an option that I use a great deal. Also, there seems to be an almost update du jour. Bottom line – This is a GREAT app for Geyser Gazers and of tremendous help while in the park. Never intend to enter Yellowstone without it!

5 ★Offline capability is a must in the height of summer in Yellowstone when cell networks are overwhelmed.
