هذه الجريدة الالكترونية التي صدرت يوم 20 مارس 2015 هي في الواقع توأم الصحيفة الورقية الأسبوعية "البطل" التونسيّة التي كانت فرضت نفسها علي امتداد اكثرمن عشر سنوات من أوسط الثمانيات إلي بعد التسعينات قبل أن تجهز عليها الرقابة لتحتجبها نهائيا و بلا عوده بعد " سوابق" من المنع الجائر عن الصدور لفترات تصل إلي الستة أشهر.كان في الحسبان بعد الثورة إعادة إصدار هذه الجريدة استنادا إلي ما في رصيدها من التجربة والحرفية والتواصل مع قرائها وقد كانت الجرأة عملة نادرة.لكن الرأي استقر في النهاية علي إعادة لم شمل أسرة تحرير البطل، وتعزيزها بكفاءات من جيل الشباب لخوض تجربة الصحافة الالكترونية مع التقيد بمبدأ الاستقلالية والحياد والموضوعية والاصداع بما يجب الاصداع به.أما عن اختيار "هنا تونس" كتسمية لهذه الجريدة الالكترونية، فذالك من باب تحديد موقعنا سياسيا وإعلاميا، إذ لا انتماء إلا لتونس التي هي فوق الأحزاب والإيديولوجيات والأشخاص.واذ اخترنا الانطلاق يوم 20 مارس 2015، ذكري الاستقلال فلان استقلال تونس (20 مارس 1956) وسيادتها وسيادة قرارها الوطني هو قاسم مشترك بين كل التونسيين مهما اختلفت بهم السبل.
