** NOTICE: As of 2/15/2020, PRESTO has made changes to their system which makes it virtually impossible to add unregistered accounts from third-party applications (like ourselves). As a result, we will be temporarily dropping support for unregistered accounts from our application.---
P Reader is an application that allows PRESTO card users to view their card summaries. With it, you can view the balance available on your PRESTO card, in addition to the recent card activity.
All this is presented in a simple, yet elegant manner.
Why does it occasionally take so long to update my card activity?
The card activity is fetched from the official PRESTO servers. Unfortunately, this means that we have no control over how fast the information is retrieved or how quickly the activity is updated after card usage.
We recommend contacting PRESTO directly if you have any complaints regarding reloads, card usage discrepancies, or any related issues.

Want the ability to tap your PRESTO card against your device to launch the app?

How to install P Reader (for PRESTO cards) APK on Android phone or tablet?

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

1 ★Allow instant updates or else this is not a useful app. I would have thought like all other apps it would update Live. Especially when using transport. If I'm not near a station to check the balance on a machine this app is no good to me.
2 ★I started using the application interface in January 2019 using NFC system on my phone to add funds to my cards it worked well, yesterday i used the say system to add funds on my cards,my money was deducted from my bank account but the system couldn't add funds to my card. It says invalid cards,my funds was not refunded either! so frustrating.
3 ★I can see all my transactions which I like to see. I can see my balance which is helpful. The balance is not updated right away, but it updates once or a couple times a day. When I check it, for the most part it reflects my updated balance.
3 ★Just received my new card to replace my last lost one, unfortunately I lost all my lost card's datas too because it can't be transfer to the new card. The system should still've all my lost datas, it should be able to transferrable to the new card automatically. So PRESTO should consider this data transferrable capability & may be soon an app which'll conveniently allowed the cellphone can be scan & use as the card.
2 ★It works well enough, but you only have the choice of a version with ads. There's no option to pay for ad free, so I ditched this in favour of Presto Companion. For now PC appears to be ad free.
2 ★Honestly not a very useful app. It tells me how much money is on the card, but it does not tell me if I have money which has been loaded onto the card (e.g. via credit card), but not activated yet (which you need to tap to do).
2 ★App crashed several times and I had to uninstall and then reinstall then clear the cache before it started to work again. It would be a great idea to be able to uodate the card balance using NFC.
2 ★can't load the card, and if you set a notification for low balance, expect to get harassed by it every hour until you finay top up your card... Why it's not based per transaction, I have no clue. This app had potential but screwed up about every customer service thing possible.
1 ★Doesn't work anymore. Was always working fine, until today when a message appeared "your account settings have been changed on the backend server. Please remove and add your account" I did, but after adding it, it does not log in.
4 ★Accurate about 80% of the time. I do wish that the recent activity would update more frequently. Currently (Nov 23) the most recent activity it is showing (Nov 21); I have taken 5 trips since.
1 ★Not sure why this app exists. You can't update your balance on it and even when you do it doesn't update for 24 hours from when you pay online. Running low on funds doesn't seem to trigger properly, or at least it's not reliable.
2 ★the idea is good but needs so much work the app take so long to be updated if i board on or even do a top up on the account and im unable to do any changes to the account lile topping it up via the app or other thibgs like if i lose my card i should be able to clock my card right then and there instead of waiting to get to a computer and report it lost by then someone could have used my card and founds what i should be ablebto do online i should be able to do on the app
