Description
GelCAP is an android app that works only with the GelCAP device, a portable smartphone based gel imager. It allows you to capture DNA and protein gel images with the GelCAP device, and performs simple image data management.Features of this app include:
1) Capture and save gel images. Delete function is also included to allow removal of any unwanted image.
2) Light source selection: users can select R/G/B and epi blue light source (three light intensity modes) on the GelCAP device when their smartphones are connected to the device using the provided USB cable.
3) Settings: two file formats can be chosen from: JPG or TIFF. Also, oversaturation marking function is available and can be turned on and off in the settings.
4) Viewing of saved images in thumbnail or whole screen size.
5) Image files deletion.
6) Comment editing of each saved image.
