Description
Utopia adalah sebuah band beraliran Rock yang terbentuk pada tanggal 8 Agustus 2002.Dimulai dari hubungan pertemanan Pia (vocal) bersama Tommy (drum) yang tergabung dalam satu band, yang biasa mengisi acara di café. Karena kebetulan Tommy mempunyai sebuahi studio musik dan Pia sudah mulai suka menulis lirik lagu, akhirnya mereka sepakat untuk mencoba membuat demo lagu. Karena Pia dan Tommy mempunyai keinginan untuk membuat demo lagu, maka mereka menambah satu orang personel lagi yang kebetulan bisa mengisi bass dan gitar sekaligus, orang tersebut adalah Dodo yang kemudian hanya mengisi posisi gitar saja dan untuk posisi bass mereka mengajak Buche yang tidak lain adalah teman dari Tommy. Berbekal sebuah demo lagu, Pia, Tommy, Dodo dan Buche bergerilya ke perusahaan – perusahaan rekaman namun masih juga belum membuah hasil. Mereka juga sempat meminta bantuan Hilman Hariwijaya, yang kemudian lagu – lagu yang masih berbentuk demo itu seluruhnya dijadikan soundtrack serial tv Sexy Sixx. Setelah menunggu, akhirnya Pia, Tommy, Dodo dan Buche mendapat kabar baik demo lagu mereka diterima oleh sebuah perusahaan rekaman. Dari sinilah sebenarnya awal pemakaian nama Utopia.
Lagu Utopia merupakan kumpulan kunci gitar dan lirik lagu populer band Utopia.
