The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) – in its capacity as the central federal institution for public health and as the German national public health institute – publishes the Corona-Warn-App on behalf of the German government.
Development of the Corona-Warn-App will be discontinued as of June 1, 2023. You will still be able to access the certificates you have already saved in the app, as well as your contact journal.
The other functions will no longer be available.

This update changes the text on the "Thank you" screen.

As of June 1, 2023, the Corona-Warn-App will be placed in a hibernation mode and will no longer be available for download in the stores.

3 ★The app cannot read the QR code for my vaccination. It gives no error, It simply doesn't recognize the code

3 ★The app works well and is useful but I keep getting a notification that says "unable to check exposure" when it's off, maybe 20 or 30 times a day. Even blocking notifications doesn't work. Please check the issue, thank you! Edit to reply: my Bluetooth and my GPS are always turned off when I get this notification.

3 ★I am not able to scan digital Green Certificate issued in other country. It reports an error: QR code is not a valid vaccination certificate. VC_PREFIX_INVALID. I though this should be standardized across the globe. Are you planing to extend your app by accepting different green certificates in near future?

1 ★This app is joke. After scanning, there is no possibility to print result. To scan another QR code for another member of my family I was asked to delete result. When deleted, and tried to read another one, a message popped up telling me that QR code is invalid and registered on another phone. My first QR code is now also invalid. Now we have to wait till we get our results by post. 🤮

5 ★Works better and better. Lacked a bunch of features, but they are slowly being added. The app just got a QR code scan for events. Waiting for the vaccine pass.

3 ★Useful app but relies entirely on user input, also very few shops have a QR code to scan (unlike NZ). You can't tell the app if you've been vaccinated or not which should reduce exposure risk.

5 ★Really great App. Amazing job and great feature release cycle. Intuitive UI and protects your privacy! If more people would use it it would be more effective. Could have a few more ways of checking that it is working, for example a way to show number of recorded and duration/db of matched keys.

1 ★This App doesn't understand intuition. It's an engineering desaster and it is not able to deliver a one-click to the result experience. It also Google ads which is completely unfriendly and it doesn't even fulfill the basic function on scanning the QR code. Why do governmental organisations have to be always so bad at designing something so basic, which everyone should use.

5 ★Works well. Cool new features are always being added with statistics, test tracking and vaccine tracking.

4 ★*** Journal Bug: my notice added May 19 appears since then every day. Not posible to delete it. Edit or Remove all. z.B. 25.05.21 Places/Test Eintrag. Erschien rückwirkend täglich bis 19.05 und bis 01.06. Remove All durchgeführt am 24.05. löschte alle von 19.05. bis 01.06. Einzelne Einträge können nicht gelöscht werden.

3 ★Few days ago the error "Expose check failed" appeared. Reset of the app helped, but lasted only one day. Error is back... Took month to fix it. Fixing those bugs should be done faster...

5 ★Love the concept and the app updates have only improved the experience
