Description
Die Stadt Oberhausen ist bestrebt, den Radverkehrsanteil zu steigern und hierdurch unter anderem die CO2-Bilanz zu verbessern. Neben Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Radverkehrsinfrastruktur sind hierzu auch Kommunikations- und der Servicemaßnamen für den Radverkehr erforderlich. Mit Fördermittel des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur wurde die Smartphone App „RadRouten Oberhausen“ für den Radfahrer in Oberhausen entwickelt, welche einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Radverkehrsförderung leisten soll.Die App verfügt über verschiedene Funktionen, wie Navigation, Point of Interest (PoI) und Anzeige von eingespartem CO2 und Treibstoff sowie den Kalorienverbrauch. Als Besonderheit bietet die RadRouten App den Nutzern ein Belohnungssystem. Pro gefahrenen Kilometer wird ein Punkt als RadMünze auf dem Nutzerkonto gutgeschrieben. Die gesammelten RadMünzen können dann bei teilnehmenden Bounspartnern in Form eines Gutscheins eingelöst werden. Die Gutscheinerstellung, -verwaltung und -einlösung erfolgt dabei über die App.
Die RadRouten App wir vorerst über nachfolgend aufgeführte Funktionen verfügen:

• Aufzeichnung und Statistik der Radfahrten
• Anzeige von Neuigkeiten zum Thema Radverkehr

Die aufgezeichneten Radfahrten können der Stadt Oberhausen zudem auf freiwilliger Basis für eine bessere Radverkehrsplanung anonymisiert zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Diese Funktion kann durch den RadRouten App Nutzer freiwillig eingeschaltet werden und ist nicht verpflichtend zur Nutzung der App. Die Stadt hat somit die Möglichkeit, die gefahren Radrouten, Radverkehrsbelastungen und Reisegeschwindigkeiten zu analysieren. Die erfassten Radverkehrsdaten ermöglichen ein besseres Radverkehrsmanagement und die Evaluation von Maßnahmen zur Förderung des Radverkehrs. Im Ergebnis kann zukünftig die Radverkehrsinfrastruktur gezielt verbessert werden.
