Current and valid FAA&AISWEB aviation charts updated every 28 days, including approach plates! Includes basic international airport data from ourairports.net and openAIP.net.Due to no freely avialable charts, please note that for charts outside of USA&Brazil non current ONC/VFR with a current openAIP overlay is available, but NO IFR charts or plates are available.
Includes a free 30 day trial!
If you wish to continue using SkyCharts after the trial, please purchase a $3.99/month subscription. Note that buying a subscription does not unlock any additional features.
For USA/Alaska, the application has all current FAA VFR (sectional+WAC), IFR (High and Low), TAC, FLY (flip side of TAC chart), Helicopter, Gulf Coast WAC, Gulf Of Mexico, and Wall aviation charts.
Grand Canyon charts are included in the TAC charts, and Bahamas and Mexico as WAC charts.
Brazil has VFR, IFR (High and Low) and approach plates.
Also included is a METAR/TAF overlay, and an IFR overlay to view routes on top of VFR charts.
Its very easy to create and modify routes directly on the map or by drag&drop in table.
Navigation readout is configurable to fit exactly what you want to see. It also has a nifty auto-layout feature that selects fields for you in both portrait and landscape mode.

Map has VFR/IFR/LIFR color-coded weather METARs, with orange TAFs.
SUA (Special Use Airspace) information is also available.

The monthly subscription of SkyCharts XC aviation data of $3.99 is auto-renewed. Payment will be charged to your Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your Google Play Store account settings, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period to avoid being billed for the next cycle. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active period. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to SkyCharts XC.

How to install SkyCharts XC EFB geo-reference APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SkyCharts XC EFB geo-reference APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Charts not downloading, even after 8- 10 hrs of continuous downloading.., I have bought subscription as well which is valid....
5 ★Flying VFR under IMC is very dangerous. But, what can you said. Insufficient fuel to return back to base force me to fly under IMC. Thanksfully, with this apps I could determine safe altitude and where safe spot for descending. :D

5 ★I've tried out a couple of EFB apps on Android tablets and phones. I'm a VFR-only pilot who does short cross-countries now and then, plus a lot of "airport-hopping". I also fly aircraft that are pretty basic, maybe a VOR at best. I needed something to keep me out of the local Class C/D airspaces, follow flight plans, pull up airport info in a pinch, and find nearby airports in a hurry. Skycharts satisfies these needs well. The moving map displays nicely on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) and it's quite responsive. I like the ability to rubber-band a flight plan leg at will. The airport database is good. Best of all, it's really simple to use. This is key for me - I don't want to re-learn the app before every flight, and bouncing over mountainous terrain is no time to find that your moving map is mysteriously showing you a large chunk of Atlantic ocean and you can't get back to the flight path. (Yes, this happened to me on a previous app!) There are a few downsides - the app is still in beta and has some rough edges, the zoom isn't there quite yet. However, the developer has been VERY responsive to my feedback and fixed a lot of issues. I now take it with me on all my flights!
