5 ★Great app..great sounds..a good selection to choose from..timer to shut off or NOT 👍🏼 and when I dl'd it in October last year IT WAS AND AS FAR AS I KNOW IT'S STILL FREE!!! Skip CALM & download Nature Sounds..no gimmicks, no free trial..just like 15 FREE or so nature sounds...and u can add in crickets, frogs, birds, etc...whatever u want. Totally AWESOME app! And did I mention it's FREE?! lol TY Nature Sounds!
4 ★Happy place white noise. I can mix various sounds to set my sleep mood. I sleep much better in the summer hearing the ocean; chimes emulate line pulleys dinging on masts. A slightly thunderous rainy night or spa music with flutes and wind; almost any combo and I'm sleeping in my happy place. This year I notice one short add popping up when I'm programming, never during the music. There are pre & custom time sets. Can turn my phone off or use other apps while it runs in the background.
5 ★Love it...can customize sounds and animals and timer which is NOT an option in the Calm app which costs$$$. Doesn't kill battery. This is a great app highly recommend. (There are ads on the very bottom of the screen but you can run the app closed and you don't see them they do not effect the sound so who cares)
5 ★I find this app to be quite amazing... really helps me sleep or just something nice for a long car ride, I do find this do be better than calm because you can add other animal sounds and completely customized it. I really really love this app I say 100% give it a try!🍃🐦🦗🦉🐸🌧️🌩️⛈️ So much to choose from!! The only in app purchase I can think of is to remove ads but I don't think the ads are much of an issue...the rest is free tho!!
4 ★I really like this app! Basic sounds and more sounds that you can add to enhance or changed the mood. Only problem I've had is after I set the timer to go off at a certain time it sometimes will start playing again on its own. Otherwise very cool.
5 ★The ONLY downside to this app, is, its only on Android. Nothing on iOS comes close. The app works well, is simple to use; and the UI is easy to navigate. The sounds are perfect, and the timer options are a nice bonus.
2 ★So the sounds are nice, if pretty basic. 2nd star for that. But the full app without ads is $49.99. Full on 50 freaking dollars. And that's touted as a 50% discount. That's absurd. There are ambience artists on YouTube that give away more creative and varied sounds than this. I just wanted something I could have on my phone and lock it so I don't burn the screen all night while I fall asleep. That's more than a year of YouTube Red which I was trying to avoid subscribing to with this.
2 ★Edit: 10-28-23 I subscribe to this app at 24.95 and now I see ads pop up in the list of sounds I can choose. It looks like it's time forme to find a new sound app and cancel this app. Very disappointed.
4 ★Really enjoy the sounds of Nature. Being able to adjust each sound to customise the relaxation experience. The sounds are very good at enhancing meditation.
