1 ★The process is very tedious, had problems connecting to my Samsung at first. Was excited to start using the app once I finally got into it, only to be disappointed with the performance. Videos remained shake after readjusting and calibration no improvement was found. Pre set maneuveres in the app didn't work at all. Really do get what you pay for.
1 ★The fact you require location permissions for bluetooth screams intrusive. Why does this even need to be bluetooth, why can't you just control it manually? Terrible choice.
2 ★Great app but keeps loosing Bluetooth. You have to switch Bluetooth off then back on and restart the app. I'm using a OnePlus Nord on a iSteady X, which is a brilliant gimbal as it fits in your pocket but beware with OnePlus Nord that the on/ off and volume buttons are just where the gimbal grabs your phone. Basically it's a bit awkward to balance but still worth getting👍
1 ★1. Actual battery run time is 4hours only. Not 8 hours. 2. This app disconnects every now and then. 3. Moment option on android app does not work 99.9% of the times, especially motion timelapse. 4. Timelapse and slowmo options don't work in app 5. Ios and Android apps are way different. 6. No 4k fps option fot andrios users. 7. No support for additional auxiliary lenses. 8. Customer / social / technical teams are not android user friendly. 9. Beware of paid youtube videos before purchasing.
3 ★Decent app, some cool presets. But it lacks to suppert all video resolutions available on your phone. And can only use 30fps. And you cant change lenses(ultrawide or zoom lenses available on phones) while shooting. Hohem please please please provide all these supports in near future updates. Then you will deserve 5 stars.
1 ★After only using it a couple of times, the app can no longer connect to the gimbal. It sees the gimbal and shows connected for a second and then drops connection. I have no problems with other Bluetooth devices.
2 ★App is ok. Video can be choppy/ laggy. I use my isteadyX gimbal without the app most of the time, just using it with my standard phone camera app which takes stabile, fluid videos but no features aside from pan and roll. Shame, it worked fine in the beginning
