Por ello, FEPYMA se constituyó el 22 de marzo de 2004 para el desarrollo y defensa de las pymes del sector, representando a sus empresas asociadas en todos los ámbitos de su competencia, siendo consecuentes con el importante porcentaje de mercado y empleo que ocupamos y el enriquecimiento de la economía local de nuestros pueblos y ciudades.
Nuestra organización mantiene una permanente relación con el Ministerio, las Consejerías Autonómicas, la Asociación de Fabricantes y Componentistas y con los Organismos de Control. Estamos presentes en AENOR y en el CEN.
Mantenemos informados a nuestros asociados mediante circulares, jornadas técnicas, congresos y asambleas celebradas en diferentes ciudades, al mismo tiempo que obtenemos conocimiento de los problemas reales en cada región.
Además utilizamos las nuevas tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación para realizar reuniones técnicas online, con foros online propios para el debate y la discusión,…
En aquellas Comunidades Autónomas que no haya asociación, se permite la asociación directa de la empresa a FEPYMA, teniendo la empresa asociada voz pero no voto en las asambleas.
La condición de asociado a FEPYMA solo la pueden tener las empresas PYMES, es decir empresas con una facturación menor 50 millones € y con menos de 250 empleados.
