Since 1974, Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis has been a leading medical center for Memphis and the Mid-South. Our 519-bed facility was the first full-service hospital in the rapidly growing East Memphis area. Over the years, “first” has become a much-used word in describing Saint Francis. We were the first to establish a Chest Pain Emergency Center that is dedicated solely to the quick intervention, diagnosis, and treatment of the heart and heart related problems.
