Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Not available on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6. It works on S22 Ultra. Both on Android 14. Can you make it available to download?
1 ★After installation the Keepass app remains locked to the keyboard swap settings and It's impossible to return back to the keepass main settings. At least add a Cancel button to exit from the configuration page
5 ★Great app
4 ★A nice addition to keepass2 but had some problems enabling the permissions on Android 12 / sony xperia 5ii device pm grant keepass2android.plugin.keyboardswap2 android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS threw up unknown permission error: android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTING for this to work i had to enclose the permissions part of the command in single quotes; pm grant keepass2android.plugin.keyboardswap2 'android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS' all now working.
5 ★If you run get follow errors "java.lang.SecurityException: grantRuntimePermission:..... Change follow settings under Developer options, Scroll to the bottom. Change "Disable Permission monitoring" to on. Reboot phone and run "pm grant keepass2android.plugin.keyboardswap2" commands again from command shell. Test KeyboardSwap work. You can change back debug and Permission monitoring to original settings.
1 ★I could not get this to work on Android 11
5 ★Amazing app
3 ★Nice app requires a lot of know how to set up
4 ★I installed this today on my S21 with Android 11. It's a real PITA if you've never used ADB. The text is case sensitive and I couldn't get it to work until I read a previous review that corrected an error in the instructions. You must use a space between 'keyboardswap2' and 'android...' Don't use a "." After running the ADB instructions again, it worked perfectly.
3 ★Seems to work when accessing keepass however it doesn't auto switch me back to default...I have to show the keyboard button.
