A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

1 ★KeePassDroid has been great, but problematic recently - failing to recognise keepass.kdbx, or my fingerprint. Uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't worked. Until these problems are fixed, have had to switch to Keepass2Android.
1 ★Since about a week ago, I am having issues with saving the database on my Android phone. The database is stored on Google Drive and every time I am adding anything new to it, upon saving, I cannot open the database anymore because the password is no longer recognized. Luckily, the cloud storage solution supports versioning, but anything added extra gets lost. Is this a bug you are aware of? Thanks!
1 ★Work ok for a while, then randomly started failing to or would upload partial dbase to cloud. Lost data, now it will not load the cloud file as default. I have to open it from the cloud app.
5 ★I am still using KeePass 1x on my PCs and have been using this app on my phone since I first switched to an Android Phone back in 2013 or 14 (I don't remember exactly when it was). I do most of my password creation on my desktop PC, occasionally some on my laptop PC, very rarely on my phone. I keep a copy of my kbd file in a cloud account which allows me to access it from all three devices. This app works great for allowing me to access my passwords for the few sites/apps that I need a password to access from/on my phone. I have had no problems with it in the past 6 plus years that I have used it, it does everything I need it to do. Thank you so much for creating it.

4 ★Must have app util! However, on Android phone updates to database (in Dropbox) made on PC do not automatically update when accessed on phone. How does one manually update the file so all devices see the same updated file?
1 ★Didn't like it. Couldn't put my passwords in it. Don't understand HOW to store my passwords. I just use a "note app" to list my passwords.

1 ★Database can't be open by fingerprint. It stopped working suddenly. "Invalid Key problem" message. No support from developer at all.
5 ★No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, I always come back to using this app for keeppass databases because it's the cleanest, most consistent way to grab passwords effortlessly. Other apps have more features like autofilling, but they're inconsistent and don't follow my usual workflow. This one is still the best, would highly recommend.
4 ★I have been using this app for quite some time now. I started off with the PC version but I exclusively use the Android version now. My only dissatisfaction with the Android version is, I have not been able to setup fingerprint database unlock. It could be me. Will read the instructions one of these days and make another attempt.
