ENCOMPASS® VIDEO uses cutting edge AI that recognizes road signs and captures video footage of risky driving behaviors, allowing fleets to optimize their driver performance management capabilities. Paired with the proven Encompass compliance dashboard, safety professionals now have remarkable insight that allows them to deliver targeted coaching that can reduce violations and crashes.The ENCOMPASS® VIDEO application is part of the J. J. Keller® Encompass® Video Event Management solution which pairs with the J. J. Keller® Dash Cam Pro. The app and accompanying video event solution do not require an ELD and can be used by regulated and non-regulated fleets.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
The ENCOMPASS® VIDEO app uses AI to interpret road data and traffic signs within live video captured through the J. J. Keller® Dash Cam Pro. It then audits driver behaviors using the smart device’s GPS data. Video of risk-related events are captured and tagged, including driver performance behaviors like hard acceleration, hard braking, cornering, lane drifting, following too close, rolling stops, and more. Event data and footage is then transmitted by the ENCOMPASS® VIDEO app to the Encompass back office where video footage, detailed driver and event reporting, and data trends can assist with evaluating driver performance.
