5 ★This has got to be my favorite charging app. Yea its not perfect but it is far ahead of chargepoint and EVgo's charging app. Being able to see how much I've spent, what my percentage is and thing like that is awesome. And typically EA works out to be cheaper then the competition, so it's all worth it in the end.
4 ★Another charging app that asks to preload a specific amount (at least $10) at the time of signing up. In the new version, the user agreement at least makes it clear that nothing will be charged until your first attempt to use it, and that any remaining amount will be refunded upon cancelation. I would still prefer if the app didn't hold my money hostage and only charge to my credit card what I really use.
5 ★The app needs an update, the map is way outdated. Many locations in SE USA like FL, GA, SC showing 'coming soon'. However, IOS and third party apps show these as open and running. My version was updated Oct 20th, 2020. What am I missing? Update 3/26.2021 I have the newest version, ALL open stations show up as expected. Thank you EA, I love the app. Waiting on my new Mach E, will be your loyal customer... !
1 ★The charging process is not intuitive. The app got stuck in the Initiating Charging phase for about 10 minutes, eventually it showed that I was charging but got stuck in 34%. The charging station UI is not intuitive, too,kept showing rejected credit card payment even though it is charging. I hope my card will not get charged extra.
1 ★Unbelievably bad update. It's like they never tested it for usability at all before shoving out an unwanted update. The previous style app worked well enough! I pulled in to an EA station, fiddled to pull up the app and start it... It blew fanfare about its redesign. Then asked me to sign in AGAIN. I sign in, while just trying to start charging... It asks me to accept their terms, while I want to charge. I eventually get it to start but hangs the app on "initiating charge" forever.
1 ★Before the update, I heard that the app was bad, but other than being slow I did not have any inconvenience. However, after the update, I was unable to stop a charge session. It was not charging me for it, but it would not allow me to start a new session to charge my car. Unfortunately, this is the only charger t my job so I have to use it since it is the most convenient option for me, but I wish they would have not updated the app of it was going to be this annoying.
1 ★It won't even let me add a card to use. Not that it matters. It seems like the chargers only work about 50% of the time anyway. When they do work I can't use the app and have to use my card and they place a 50 dollar hold on it. This wouldn't be terrible except the hold lasts for days. What if you're traveling a long distance? Just go around with 200 dollars worth of holds on your card? Avoid at all costs.
1 ★I don't know what your strategy is .. this app always stop working or not working at all... Your charging station is always having issue, I am sitting here charging my car I can't even leave... Every 15min either a system error or it tells me the charging is finished when only 20% gets in the battery .. what are u guys doing?!?
1 ★Tried using a public charger with this app on march 24th 2021. I preloaded funds into my account. Charger recognizes my android phone but gives the error message "no account found". Please test your software before you release it folks.
2 ★After the new update. My app gets stuck on initiating charging. Every time. The car will charge. But I can't monitor how the charge is going
