A Sociedade Brasileira de Cardiologia - Seção Santa Catarina (SBC/SC), alinhada com esses princípios, tem se empenhado em participar ativamente desse processo, oferecendo aprimoramento técnico na especialidade. Nesta senda, estamos lançando o XVI Congresso Catarinense de Cardiologia a ser realizado de 01 a 03 de agosto de 2019, no Centro de Eventos da Associação Catarinense de Medicina, na cidade de Florianópolis, momento para o qual já estamos nos preparando.
