Download Dwell: Audio Bible APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★So helpful to me. Love the format and search option. So many great playlists and reading plans. Love that I can choose different versions and background music. It doesn't seem to let me start a playlist from the middle if I have already listened to part of it. But that doesn't outweigh the benefits of all the other features.
5 ★I LOVE this app throughout the last year they have been constantly adding more and more additional features, customization, translations and so much more! Although I like the improvements in accessablity. I have one criticism and that is the ascetic and layout change made recently. Don't get me wrong the Dwell app is still beautiful to look at but the layout changed sense 2019 I prefer the old look and layout.
5 ★I really love this app! Listening to scripture as opposed to just reading it has so much potential. Listen while driving, while doing a workout, or settling for sleep in bed...or whatever works for you. Being able to choose from various voices and translations I great. It's not boring or monotone. I find it a way to make scripture new and fresh. Highly recommend it!
4 ★I have been using Dwell for a couple of months now. I really enjoy listening, the voice and music options are all very nice. I notice as I'm working through a plan, once I finish a day.... When I return the next time, it defaults to replay the day I just finished. I have to go in to the plan and start play on the correct day. That's a bit of an inconvenience, but other than that I really enjoy this app.
5 ★I love this app! I like to listen to a plan before I go to sleep at night. I am currently doing a plan that reads each of the gospels together chronologically. I love how you can customize the background music, the pause in between passages for reflection time, the translation, and voice of the reader. I also plan to eventually make my own short playlists to work on memorizing certain scriptures. The premade playlists are also really nice, and I have listened to several of those too.
5 ★Dwell is hands down the best app currently available for listening to the Bible in English or Spanish. The app design, art, voices, and recording quality are all top-notch. The ability to fine-tune the listening experience is unrivaled (i.e., listening speed, voice, voice volume, music style and volume, dwell, read-along text). They regularly add new voices and features. There are a plethora of reading plans. There's simply nothing like it.
5 ★Really good bible/audiobook app. Lots of different voices/versions to choose from and lots of good playlists for holidays or yearly plans. Easy to go to a specific verse as well if you wanted to look something up. The only downside is you have to pay for it, but I think it is well worth it and having a bunch professional sounding people read the entire Bible for you isn't cheap at all. The one thing I would like is more customization options for random voices. Like session, 10 mins, 15 mins etc
5 ★This app is wonderful. I love the new addition of scriptures for daily activities, like while dressing, driving, cooking, eating, bathing, etc. Everything in here is such a blessing. Unfortunately lately the app seems to have some issues I haven't come across before. I tried locking in a certain voice and Bible version. It can't seem to stay locked on it even though it says it's locked in. I've never had a problem with choosing a voice or version before without even locking in a voice or version
4 ★I absolutely love everything about this app. The voices and the music are perfect. My only complaint, really is just a preference. I usually read the Holman Christian Standard Bible because of its accuracy and ease of understanding the language. However, there are no audio versions available except the CSB and that is read by a narrator I can't listen to. The low gravely voice is so hard to listen to. I was wondering if Kylie or Ryan could read it? If this is the place to request that. Thanks
4 ★I like it because I'm not forced to listen to robotic voices. However, I do not like that everything is pre created. I can't clip my own scriptures and meditate on the one I choose which I find annoying. If they create an option where we can : -Cut or clip our own scripture and meditate on it -Create our own Playlist Then I will change my review to 5 star. If not I will more than likely not renew my annual subscription. Overall this is a good app to listen to throughout the day.
5 ★Audio Bible app is awesome I wish I would have found it a long time ago. One thing that makes it so unique is the ability to listen to the bible in a unique way using playlists. These are pre programmed scriptures on a given subject that you can audibly listen to. There seems to be so many to choose from like fear, marriage, temptation etc. Very clean interface. Future suggestion: you can see at a glance when opening a book what chapters were read before. Maybe make chapter numbers dark.
5 ★Lots of different voices and versions of the Bible to listen to. Can also customize with choices in background music, which can be set quieter or louder, or you can choose to not have background music. Many different reading plans are available to choose from. I've been using this app for over a year and I still use it every day while I am driving.
