Description
HCAD's Information and Exemption app allows a property owner to access key information about HCAD including customer service numbers and address. The app allows a residential property owner to submit a residence homestead exemption application by providing images of the front and back of their driver's license as well as check the status of the application.In addition, the property owner can also lookup their iFile number if lost by scanning their driver's license and they can also report property damage caused by natural disasters (In case of any ongoing or recent natural calamity).
HCAD’s property records must match the name and address on the driver’s license. It may take up to 90 days for HCAD to be notified of recent sales.
