Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Use to enjoy this app, recent updates have mad it absolute garbage
1 ★Prior to the recent update and subscription requirement, it used to be a good app. "Delete"
1 ★I downloaded the latest version of the Postmedia/ Edmonton Journal app. It is absolute garbage. I spent 20 minutes with their support person and nothing was resolved. It either doesn't identify me as a paid subscriber or if it does I can't access or participate in conversations. Don't waste your money, don't subscribe to Postmedia publications.
1 ★It's not actually the Edmonton Journal, it's a post media all in one app. They've put out the same app multiple times under the names of their individual publications. You could have this but be getting news from a different city or paper. Additionally even the most basic stories require an account now. So they're faking play store metrics and trying to siphon information for advertisers instead of providing news. That's it everyone, the news I'm Canada is done.
1 ★I used this app daily, but since the most recent update with articles requiring a subscription, I am deleting it.
1 ★Enjoyed Edmonton journal for years and years. But the recent upgrade to the app and the 15$ per month charge... I uninstalled.... best of luck post media. Think you are about to lose many more loyal readers..
1 ★Old app allowed me to read the news and see article the new app limits me to the point it is useless. Give up and just go with a different newspaper or app.
1 ★Got the new update. Every article has a picture and two lines of text. That's it. Useless. Uninstalling.
1 ★I subscribed 2 days ago and still can't access it. And support autoreply says 4-5 business days just to get a reply. This is cutting edge media?
1 ★Unless you pay for a subscription, you are pretty restricted.
