Mereka terdiri dari lima anak muda yang berambut gondrong, yakni Erwin Harahap (melody/vokal), Rinto Harahap (bass/lead vokal), Reynold Panggabean (drum/lead vokal), Rizal Arsyad (rhytem/vokal), dan Iskandar alias Bun (keyboard/vokal). Mereka mengusung kisah esensial sejarah dan kenangan yang suka hura-hura, serta berkiblat dengan band-band pesta di Jakarta, seperti, Noor Bersaudara, Ceking, Cruss dan Medinas.Berdiri awal 1969 di kota Medan, Sumatra Utara, band ini dibangun oleh sekelompok anak muda yang berasal dari satu daerah yang mempunyai satu visi yang sama, sehingga membuat dua bersaudara dari marga Harahap ini bertolak dari Jakarta menuju Medan membentuk band pesta.
