Welcome To High ThereHigh There is the Social Cannabis App. We’re a community of cannabis enthusiasts looking to create, connect and learn.
While other platforms censor creators for discussing the cannabis industry, High There promotes and highlights cannabis centric content that allows our users to share their interests, learn about the industry, find new friends, get the latest news and discover the best products.
As a social network, our goal is to allow our community to freely express and share their cannabis interests. Since community safety is at the core of everything we do, posting content that is illicit, inappropriate, offensive or promotes the act of soliciting is against our guidelines.
We hope that as a member of High There you’ll be inspired to create content, start conversations and build a community of your own.
How It Works
Here’s how to get started on High There:
Create an Account using our authorized methods. You’ll also be asked to verify your phone number in order to ensure that you’re a real person and to protect our community.
Fill Out Your Profile with your name and an image of yourself!
Discover Content you love on the Feed by scrolling through the For You tab. Once you’ve found content that you enjoy, press that follow button to stay up to date on the latest posts.
Find Creators To Follow in the Discover tab.
Get Connected by having Live conversations in Rooms. Join a Room based on your interests to have conversations, ask questions and quickly get to know the High There Community.
Create Posts and Stories to share with your friends. You can create photo, video and text posts and share Stories that will last for 24 hours.
Features
The Feed
The Feed is made up of two components: For You and Following. On the For You tab, you’ll be able to discover the latest and greatest posts on High There. Once you find content that resonates with your cannabis interests, simply follow the creator and their posts will start to show in your Following Tab. You can also follow topics and hashtags.
Discover
Discover is the place to find new creators to follow. We’ll show you users based on location, interests, who’s trending right now on High There and who just joined. Discover is a powerful tool to help you find like minded people to build your cannabis community.
Rooms
Start the conversation or jump into one with our very first live feature, Rooms. Select a Room that pertains to your interests and quickly chat with the High There community. Ask questions, start the conversation or simply just observe, Rooms are built for quick connection over shared interests.
Create & Stories
As a social cannabis app, High There is all about sharing content with your community. You can create photo, video or text posts that will show on the Feed and your Profile. And, you can create Stories, posts that last for only 24 hours. They’ll show up at the top of the Feed to your followers and on your profile. You’ll even be able to contribute to global community Stories such as #PuffPuffPass.
Profile
Lastly, build a creative profile that shows who you are to the High There community. Find a username that suits you best, add an image of yourself and update your description to let users know why you’re on the app. You’ll also be able to add social links, see your followers and who you’re following on your profile.

1 ★this app was awesome about 8 months ago, and now its absolute garbage. If you swipe left on someone they dont go away, just pop back up when you open the app again. if you set your search radius to 20 miles, it still shows you people 100+ miles away. if someone sends you a request, you have to open the app 4 more times for it to actually show up. great in theory, below poor in execution.
1 ★Sadly, there's no zero star option, but if there were, this trainwreck of an app deserves it. Apparently High There is really buggy and constantly crashes, but I wouldn't know; I've attempted numerous times to create an account and been auto suspended for no discernable reason immediately after hitting the button to create my account. Support is non-existent and doesn't answer emails. Don't even bother with High There; it's trash and an absolute waste of your time.
1 ★Years later and still bad. Added new features and lay out but pointless if it doesn't work. I'm honestly in disbelief that this app has been in such bad shape for such a long time. I have no idea why I keep giving these guys another chance. Yeah I can log in, but now no search. Disappointment in this development team is an understatement. I'm trying not to be aggravated but it's been so long guys, and barely any progress.
1 ★I love the concept that's trying to be done here, but jeez this app is one of the most glitchy and least navigable app I've ever used. This apps UI needs to be overhauled and upgraded, the feel of the app could be a lot better, fix the glitches because I can't load a picture, check messages, or add friends and it can use a new interface for the overall look.
2 ★The app has a great design concept, but it's way too glitchy. The profile asks for info that never gets displayed, is clumsy to edit, and pics all get blown up so they don't fit the screen. The discovery settings are just as wonky - set it to meet women within 25miles, it shows you men within 300miles. Kept telling me I've already connected with everyone nearby, when I hadn't connected with anyone yet. *DELETED*
1 ★Downloaded this because I heard an interview with the developer on CBC radio 1. It sounded cool, the developer said in the interview you could answer questions to help find more suitable matches based on how you like to consume, and how often, and what you like to do when you consume. But the only questions were how what you like to consume.
1 ★wow does this update stink. the app was already borderline nonfunctional, but this overly ambitious rework has cast any working functions of this app into oblivion. with the constant crashing, extreme difficulty to access friends list, the lack of response to touch on most of the app, to just the app not working whatsoever. this used to be a halfway decent platform to find real friends that are like minded, now it's just my daily dose of acid reflux.
2 ★its really just a market place for certain vegetables. The app it self is terrible. Its clear, the app is not being used as a date app with easy to search module, but more that of a relation manager. Try looking at pictures, then go back and look for the next person. You cant, it jumps to your own profile every time.
1 ★Useless as a dating app. Every time I update my profile settings it automatically turns "friends" back on so I get all kinds of people popping up that are not looking to date. My preferences are set to women only & it still shows men. Worst of all it doesn't show a persons age. There seems to be an awful lot of minors on here. One girl even admits in her bio that she's only 16 & looking for weed. Is that what this app really is? A way for kids to get drugs?
2 ★this app WOULD be a 5/5 stars however the newest format update makes it so its more difficult to see the distance of how far away someone is, and most of all i stopped getting notifications and messages. no one even matches me anymore and i get the same people over and over again. biggest downgrade ive ever seen this app is useless to me now.
1 ★This app was about a 2 before but I learned the bugs in the app and how to navigate around it. Now, today with the new update 2/19, I can't send or receive messages. I logged out and tried to log back in and all I get is "Internal Service Error." Smh, I'm lowering it to a 1 until it's fixed.
1 ★I don't like it when every other app on my phone works just fine but when I'm on this one I can't ever get a connection always an internal server error fix your program make it work, i never even got a 2.0 update. And now I can't understand why you don't fix it and keep it working i don't understand.
