4 ★I decided to add everything into the app the other day. Easy to use and doesn't need a subscription to add more than 10 items. Barcode scanner works consistently, especially if item is in the fridge (high contrast lighting) Unlike another app I tried, it doesn't have to reload every time I switch to a different app. Like if I want to look up the shelf life of cucumber, then add the cucumber to my fridge. It's a bit minimalist, and there's additional features I'd like, but I'll add more to this review later, after using it for a month or two.
5 ★(edited) 5 star after developer response to fix an in issue I had after purchasing. Great support. I really like this app. Its easy to use which is great. My two suggestions would be that you can move just one thing over to the basket when you have multiple listed, and to be able to group the items for example fridge , freezer , bottom cupboard (maybe do it so people can enter their own). I hoping this will reduce our food waste and save us money.
4 ★Great concept for saving food. Love that I can see how many days I have left to use it. I took one star off because it would be great to be able to add another fridge/freezer so I can separate what's in the upstairs fridge versus the downstairs freezer. Other than that, great app!
2 ★This app looks promising. Looks like one of the most advanced of this type in the store. However after adding all products from the kitchen (~50) it started to be slow. The category system is not useful at all as you have to enter the same name to group the products (i should be able to group by more general cat as eg. cheese). The most important feature for me - searching for recipes based on the food I have works poorly as it suggests me recepies with 20 ingredients where I have like 3 of them
4 ★it's easy to navigate, easy to add food (scan the barcodes), and tells me wats in my fridge and wat recipes I can make... unlike a few other apps who don't have the barcode function and go into to much detail for me that I have to type in (like how much of an item is left, what the units are, what kind of cheese it is, and etc)
5 ★Liking ther app so far. Is it possible to add a "household" option so you can share your db with people in the house? Could push a message from the app to get something on the way from work, or search recipes based on the db contents and send a request for dinner that night. Also, prevent the potential issue of two or more people restocking the same item.
5 ★UPDATE: changed my stars from 1 to 5. I was contacted by the developer and Malcolm trouble shooted the problem with me, sent me an updated version with a fix for the bug and it's working great so far! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ------------------ I really want to use it! I got through the intro steps and began entering an item for the first time and the app keep crashing before I can finish. 😭😭😭 What do I do?
1 ★The 1st 3 items I scanned were not found. you would think Aldi products and Morrison's products would be in the database otherwise what's the point? I will try a few more, but not a good start.
4 ★Been looking for an app like this for a while. Really excited to use it and will update my review in a bit. One question though, what about a paid version with no ads?

4 ★I like this cause it easily add the items to the Fridge list, however it would be better if we can add the number of items having the same expiration dates and not as separate items. For example: Product A - Exp 2019/12/22 - 5 pcs Product A - Exp 2019/10/25 - 2 pcs
