Μια ιστορία ή καλύτερα ένα παραμύθι από εκείνα που πρέπει να διαβάζουν τα παιδιά στους μεγάλους και όχι οι μεγάλοι στα παιδιά.
Οι ενήλικες έχουν ξεχάσει να χαμογελούν και μετρούν τα πάντα με όρους οικονομικούς, κάτι που τα παιδιά δεν μπορούν να καταλάβουν.
Ο Χαμογελαστός άνθρωπος έρχεται για να μας θυμίσει όλα αυτά που μεγαλώνοντας έχουμε ξεχάσει…
Ο Θωμάς Μενεξές είναι δάσκαλος στη Δημόσια Εκπαίδευση.
Εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια ξεκίνησε να γράφει παραμύθια και ιστορίες για παιδιά, που όλα όμως κατέληγαν στο συρτάρι του.
Μέχρι που η διαδικτυακή τεχνολογία βρήκε καινούριους τρόπους δημοσίευσης, και οι ιστορίες του βγήκαν -σχεδόν από μόνες τους- ξανά απ’ το συρτάρι, ξεσκονίστηκαν, έβαλαν τα καλά τους κι άρχισαν πάλι να τρέχουν πέρα δώθε.
Τελικά οι ιστορίες είναι σαν τα μικρά παιδιά.
Θέλουν κι αυτές προσοχή, αγάπη και αναγνώριση.
Και μοναδικό όνειρο ενός συγγραφέα είναι να τις δει να βρίσκουν τον δρόμο τους, να ταξιδεύουν στον κόσμο, κι αν καταφέρουν να μεταδώσουν έστω και μια στάλα συγκίνησης στους αναγνώστες τους, αυτό θα είναι η μεγαλύτερη ανταμοιβή για τον δημιουργό τους.
