Description
La aplicación realiza una estimación del filtrado glomerular según las ecuaciones CDK-EPI y MDRD4-IDMS, a partir de los datos del paciente: edad, creatininemia, género y etnia.Limitaciones:
- Recuerde que es una estimación y que por ello siempre será menos exacto en el cálculo del filtrado glomerular que determinar el aclaramiento de creatinina.
- La masa muscular y la dieta del paciente pueden alterar los resultados de estas estimaciones: en una persona con poca masa muscular y/o una dieta pobre en proteínas el valor real del filtrado glomerular será MENOR.
- Las ecuaciones solo pueden aplicarse a personas con una edad mayor a 18 años.
- Se ha demostrado que la ecuación MDRD4-IDMS es menos precisa que CDK-EPI en pacientes mayores de 70 años o con buena función renal (baja creatinina sérica).
